Stayed at the Knickerbocker for a shopping trip during Christmas. Hotel was very clean and everyone was very nice. Room is small but we were only in to sleep. Had a drink at the bar before retiring for the night and bartender was very friendly.

This is the 5th stay for us. Their prices are reasonable and that along with easy check-in and a room that suits our purpose, ( shopping) keeps us coming back. The rooms are on the smallish side but they have great beds and upscale bathrooms. The hotel is located very close to the mag mile shopping and has a bar...

My wife and I spent the weekend here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is right at the end of the mile. The rooms are a little small but that is to be expected given the age of the building. The bathrooms have been renovated. I love the rain shower showers. The bed was comfortable. We will definitely...

We stayed one night in a superior king room. Check in and check-out were prompt and pleasant and our room was comfortable with a great bed & shower. We attended a wedding reception in the lovely ballroom where the food and drinks were outstanding. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We had to stay at the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel one late night, no reservation. Kwame was at the front desk and treat us very well. He found us a room and matched the price with competitors. Unfortunately, the room was not set up (reason I give 4 stars). Went down, talked to Kwame and he found us another room (upgrade)....

My wife & I recently spent several nights (over the Thanksgiving holiday) at the Knickerbocker, and were overall pleased with our choice. When compared to other, (often newer) hotels in the area, not only has this "quaint," tastefully updated facility found a happy medium between its Roaring Twenties roots & the present needs of its clientele, but the great (one-block...

I have stayed at the Knickerbocker numerous times and it has always been pleasant. However, on my most recent stay, October 7, I erroneously left a skirt in my room. I would take full responsibility for my loss if my skirt wasn't found by housekeeping. However, I called the hotel the next day and was told they had found my...

My Husband and I recently stayed at the Milennium Kickerbocker Hotel. The hotel was quaint not one of your large Modern hotels. I loved it's location. Literally one block to Michigan Avenue. They've done a good job at maintaining the hotel charm. I tend to prefer more modern hotels but it was a great change. The rooms were comfortable and...

Stayed with a friend and really enjoyed the location. Just steps away from Michigan Avenue, great restaurants and the parks, I very much enjoyed walking to the Millennium Park to see their daily summer concerts. Rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and great quality! Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Millennium Knickerbocker. The room was perfect- clean, spacious, and comfortable. We stayed in a room with 2 double beds. Walking up and down the magnificent mile to get places was pleasant and if shopping is your main attraction then this is a perfect hotel. However, it was a bit far from many attractions,...

Staying in Streeterville

Neighbourhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
