A friend and I shared an Executive King room with a city view. The room was attractive, large, and in perfect condition, with lots of closet space and a recently updated bathroom. The public spaces are always uniquely beautiful, and new elevators are being installed, which are faster than the old ones. Staff are friendly and courteous.

All i have to say is i am THANKFUL we did not take our girls downtown for the night this time. The couple next door woke us up with early Moaning and bed banging on the wall. We heard EVERYTHING. I was very upset there is no privacy here. First time staying here, sad because i expected it to be...

The hotel is very elegant! I thought the service was friendly and responsive. I loved getting a text from Paloma after check in to ask if we needed anything. I did need something and it was awesome to just text the request and have it taken care of! Later in our stay I texted for another request and it was...

Not a very pleasant stay. When I checked in, they did not have my reservation in my name! Bathroom dirty; tub drain not draining properly; room needs to be updated; the thermostat did not work properly! The hotel is in need of being updated. The breakfast in the restaurant was the best part of the stay; I looked forward to...

We had trouble at check in as our suite that we booked was not available even though we arrived an hour after normal check in. I am a Diamond Hilton Honors member but the service given at check in was not good. The suite we stayed in was very large but the bathroom doesn't look like updated since the hotel...

This is a "must do" in Chicago! We took the entire family for "birthday high tea" and everyone had a blast! It's $40 per adult and slightly less for the smaller/child's version. You can add liquor refreshments and kids can have hot cocoa instead of tea. The tea was fantastic and there were a dozen choices, the finger sandwiches were...

We came up for just one night, and arrived very cold and early but early check-in was allowed and we really enjoyed our stay. Ms. Wong at the Front Desk was super kind and the big guy outside was pure Chicago awesome! It was like zero degrees but the Hotel was super warm and very comfortable. A great big Thank...

The Drake is supposed to be an outstanding hotel. I did not find it so on this stay. The bell staff just watches as I struggled to get my luggage up 2 flights of stairs to the lobby. Only 1 staff behind desk, taking care of guests checking in and out. There was a line and no one helped her.

The hotel is without doubt a landmark of Chicago, belongs to the historic hotels of America and it is surely worth a visit. We got a beautiful room (although it did not have the tag executive) with two full bathrooms (two bathtubs), two queen beds, a living room, a large walk-in wardrobe, a beautiful desk etc. The process of checking-in...
