Location was great. Rooms were spacious and clean. Complaints were the room was so hot and thermostat did not work in room. Also no shelf space to put things down in the bathroom. Only shelf above sink slanted so bad everything would fall off.

Perfect location and accommodating staff. We didn't take advantage of Drumbar, Pelago or Glazed & Infused, but were thrilled to have these options within the hotel. Gym facility was small, but nice, and offered fresh apples and cold towels that were refrigerated. What a treat! Especially since the gym and all other common areas on the 2nd floor was over...

Stayed here for 6 nights in Nov-Dec. The location is great just next to Hancock Tower and Watertower Place. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom had recently been renovated. The beds were great. The bar at the 18th floor (Drum Bar) has a very big selection of whisky/bourbon etc and a cool atmosphere. WiFi was complimentary. Recommended.

I brought my soon to be fiancé to Chicago to propose. Unfortunately, the stay at the Raffaello left something to be desired. The room was nice enough, but the heat didn't work (vent pumped cold air) and when we told the front desk they said they would send someone, but nothing changed. We found old food left by the previous...

Gold Coast location is best part. I reserved a suite (for family) and standard room for my husband and me which, oddly, cost about the same. I reserved a roll-away for the suite which I had to request again the day we arrived and was not delivered until next day so teen grandson slept first night on floor. Also, when...

Great location and friendly staff. Everything was good but heater inthe room. It was noisy and under funtioning. Overall experience was pleasant and I would recommend the hotel. We had a great trip and have a good memory.

"A" for effort with texting guests to see how their stay is going. "D" for follow-up when we were not having a good stay. Oscar sent me an email asking for feedback, but never bothered to call my cell.

We've stayed here in the past and really liked it. This time our room layout was horrible and at least ten items in the room in bad disrepair. When I mentioned this at checkout, the staff seemed unconcerned. I would not come back until the hotel is remodeled.

The service was excellent! The location was perfect if you're wanting Michigan Ave/Gold Coast location. The coffee/doughnuts were spectacular. Previously we ate at the restaurant and thought it was exceptional - this trip was all about Thanksgiving and family.

Staying in Streeterville

Neighbourhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
