Obviously an old property that has undergone some modern updates. Unfortunately, most of their public spaces are very chopped up except for the lobby bar area. Hotel signage indicating rooms, elevators, bathrooms is sketchy at best.
Rooms are very small and cramped without amenities normally...More
Stayed here for business during a trade show. The hotel is well located in the hustle bustle of Chicago - lots of good restaurants around within walking distance. Check in was quick + friendly and rooms have a nice decor to them. Sheet and bedding...More
Just on the magnificent mile shopping street and less than a mile from the Navy Pier and Ohio Street Beach (great place for early morning swim...) Friendly staff. Great, modern and spacious gym. Higher floor rooms have nice views over Chicago.
The room was very spacious, clean, and modern. Our check in was seamless and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast in the restaurant was very good. The prices are above average but you are paying for quality. There is a small convenience store in...More
Stayed for around 6 nights. The hotel is rather old but situated in a good location along magnificent mile. The breakfast selection is bad, not sure if it's a typical American style hotel breakfast though. There is no free WiFi in the room unless you...More

Marriott Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile Hotel Chicago ,
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.

I do not work there, i am pretty sure you can call directly to them. I was there for a conference, on the 21 floor, my room looked okay, I do not have information how it looked before. If I had to go back, I surely would book my room. To be truth full, there is a Hospital near by, you do hear the ambulance sire at night, it echo off the building. it did not bother me, but some other it would. enjoy your trip.

when we were ready to leave for the airpot, the bell hop assisted me with transportation, a vehicle, A transportation care happen to come in and he took us to the air port. he had large vehicle, my husband has a big walker, and there was four of us, with a lot of luggage. he was good. but we were there when the Baseball team won the world series, we asked him if he could help buy a local newspaper. he stopped several places, at the six one we found them. it cost us $50 for the trip, and of course I tip him well. enjoy your trip
