Had a few problems finding this hotel due to roadworks. Nice reception area, very modern. Unfortunately this was not reflected in the room we were given. It was tiny, more like a cupboard with a bed. It overlooked an alley where the hotel refuse and deliveries were dealt with. This meant a lot of noise during the night. Following morning... More

The location of the Travelodge downtown Chicago is good. 1 block to Red Line and 1 block to buses at Congress Plaza and Grant Park Buckingham fountain area. We took public transportation everywhere and it was easy and convenient and cheap with a 7 day VENTRA pass. The rooms are average but clean. The noise is like in any large... More

I had a 5 night stay that was close to $1.000. I will say the room was clean. There weren't any bugs or anything. The staff isn't very friendly, while the washer and dryer were fairly cheap to run, my clothes came out dirtier than when they went in, and they didn't dry at all. The housekeeping staff didn't leave... More

The only reason this hotel gets any stars is because of the location. Situated in downtown Chicago in the loop, it is in a good location for walking to numerous attractions. The room was small and old. The AC is a window unit. The bed uncomfortable. The bathroom wasn't clean. The staff wasn't friendly. The WIFI was terrible.....And the price.....190 per night....No Breakfast....all around a bad deal
