Recently stayed at the Inn of Chicago with another couple. Went to Chicago for a fun weekend to shop and see a show. The Inn of Chicago is in a excellent location and only a very short walk to the Magnificant Mile.We used the subway the whole weekend and it was also not to far from the hotel and made...

Dear krand88, Thank you for your review. We are delighted that you had a nice time visiting Chicago with your friends. It seems our guest rooms fell short of exceeding expectations while you were a guest of ours. Just so you are aware, we do offer both traditional guest rooms and contemporary guest rooms at the Inn of Chicago. All...

I booked 2 rooms and arrived with confirmation numbers in hand. It took at least 15 minutes to just check in from the time I handed the info over. We had 2 rooms and they were not cheap. One room was small, old, dark, with a window that was so dirty or stained you couldn't see out of it. Didn't...

Dear Sharon L, Thank you for your honest review. Both positive and negative comments are efficacious to help us learn and grow as a team. We are really sorry to hear about your disappointing check-in experience. Allow us to apologize if the bathrooms were too small for your liking, but since we are a historic hotel it is difficult for...

The reviews for this hotel are pretty spot on. The rooms are smaller and the bathroom was tiny, but you can't beat the location and the service really beat our expectations! If you want to check into a luxurious hotel, this isn't the place, but if you just need a solid place at a good rate, the inn of Chicago...

The hotel is quite old, the elevator is small and narrow, facilities are just so so, however, it really has a perfect location! Walking distance to Michigan Ave and Navy Pier. There Arevsome fancy restaurants very nearby.

Great location to come and experience Chicago! Just around the corner from the shopping. Nice people at the front desk. Rooms are nice. Beautifull lobby. Will definitely come back next time we are in Chicago.

The hotel itself is old so expect some differences compared to modern hotels. The room itself was very small but seemed pretty clean. The window in the room is super small too so if you are claustrophobic maybe go elsewhere. The elevator was the one thing that almost drove me over the edge because it was so small and so...

Convenient location is the major draw for this long-in-the-tooth property. Check in was smooth, but an offered up grade was to a suite chopped up in dimensions, and claustrophobic. We opted for the regular king size bed room. Bathrooms are very small. It appears clean, but everything is tired, including the elevators which are much too small and generally have...

Dear Roz C, Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay at the Inn of Chicago. We are delighted that you enjoyed our central location in downtown Chicago. The historic Inn of Chicago hotel dates back to 1927, so the size of our elevators and guest bathrooms are smaller than what many would expect of traditional hotels. Some...

This place has the worst service I've ever experienced. We got here at 1:30 and were told our rooms would be ready at 3. One room was ready at 3:30, the other is still not ready. It's now 4:30 and 3 different people have given us 3 different stories about why it isn't ready. The rooms were booked under a...

I was in Chicago for a business conference that was nearby the hotel. The location is great. It's just a block away from Michigan Avenue. They have standard rooms, keeping in mind it's an older boutique hotel that's going under renovations. In bigger cities, I usually like to choose these types of hotels because of the location and price. I...
