My Mother, 6 year old boy and I decided to stay at this hotel mainly because it was part of the choicehotels.com and we needed to stay a 2nd time somewhere in order to get a Free Night! I was hesitant because I am normally a Starwood Hotel girl, but I was doing my husband a favor (and he was...

Dear Iowalacey999, Thank you for your review and choosing to stay with us. We are glad you enjoyed our convenient location and lobby area. Enjoyed staying at the Inn of Chicago last week. Great location and service. I had a few questions for the staff and they were very willing to help. The shops and restaurants around the hotel gave me lots of options. I also really enjoyed being so close to the lake so that I could enjoy a run after work along...

The hotel is average but the location is great--located just one block off of Michigan Ave and walking distance to many attractions. The rooms are okay, but the bathrooms and beds left something to be desired. The bathrooms are tiny. No ledge or vanity to leave even a toothbrush in the bathroom! The shower had very little water pressure and...

Dear CleanPlateClub, Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed our central location and close proximity to popular Chicago attractions. It disappoints us to hear that our accommodations failed to exceed expectations while you were a guest of ours, but glad our staff was able to help remedy your situation in any way possible. Stayed here during the restaurant show. My second visit to this hotel. What really stands out about this location year after year is their valet and bell service. My colleague and I arrived (after I picked her up at Ohare on my way from Iowa) exhausted from travel and traffic. The bellman and valet staff came out, retrieved our numerous...

The hotel is steps from Michigan Avenue and in the heart of the shopping district. Lobby and lounge are nice and trendy on the first floor. The rooms however are small and furniture looks and feels cheap. The shower took some adjusting before I could use it and then it was very low flow. I only stayed one night, but...

If you care a lot about being close to the mile then you might want to pay the money to stay here. They have a rooftop patio that you can bring your own drinks up to - nice view. The hotel is okay, washroom is small with no place to put things. The bed was fine. Overall its' just very...

I don't typically write review on hotels since I do not spend a lot of time in my room. This one is an exception. The room is extremely small. Almost uncomfortable. You cannot walk to the door at the same time someone has the bathroom door open. It is tight! I do appreciate the location as it was a very...

Dear Jherome241, Thank you for your review. We sincerely regret to learn about your disappointing experience. It saddens us to learn that you did not have a decent view from your guest room. I'm giving the hotel 4 stars mostly for the location. Walking distance to everywhere! Rooms are small and have old tv which we didn't use, iron and ironing board, clothes rack, desk. Bathroom is small but clean and have basic toiletries (no toothbrush/toothpaste), hairdryer. There's also complimentary coffee, but there's a lavazza coffee downstairs and there's a donut place across...

I recently had the mild displeasure of staying at the Inn of Chicago for a business trip and upon entering the lobby was greeted with the repetitive, tired, "modern", Crate & Barrel-inspired lobby I'm beginning to see more & more of. While better than most standard hotel lobbies, it seems that many hotels these days are adopting this type of...
