Wonderful hotel. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Very clean and efficiently run with truly exceptional staff. Stayed here for a night when I came to town to celebrate my 40th birthday by attending a Jason Mraz concert. Could not have been a better choice. Very happy!!!

A surprisingly quiet hotel in a very busy area, within walking distance of Union Station, the Art Institute, and State Street shopping. Breakfast area is a bit small for the size of the hotel, but all in all, I had a very pleasant stay in this refurbished old Majestic Theatre building.

Sharon, Thank you for sharing your experience with us and for the great review! Your comments pretty much summed up how awesome our location is. I’m glad it was so convenient for you to explore downtown Chicago and visit some places. Our breakfast area and lobby is small due to the property being an old historic building. I’m happy you...

The staff and hotel were wonderful. Parking was smooth as well. The front desk assisted us with our bags and with dinner reservations. Only draw back is/was cost. Over priced even by Chicago standards.

The location of this hotel is perfect. 2 subway lines. One of which will get you to/from the airport. Walking distance to Art Institute; one block to bus to get to Field Museum. Probably the best location for everything. Staff was excellent, from doormen to front desk to wonderful staff that cleaned the room. Room was absolutely perfect. Bed was...

I was in Chicago in September for 10 days on a business project and stayed in the Hampton Majestic. The setup is a little unusual - there are no facilities at street level - you go up in the elevator to the Lobby, which is really just the front desk and the breakfast area. The front desk staff are very...

An old building/ hotel. A bit shabby but very clean and well maintained. The entrance is not impressive. The 4th floor lobby is comfortable. Free tea and coffee all the time, sometimes quite good cookies and a breakfast 6-10 which is very good. Really convienient for the Loop and subway, also close to various sites and shops etc. Room was decent size and comfy. Breakfast was simple but fine. It did get quite busy, but it was Labor day weekend and the hotel did put up signs warning that it would be busy. Staff were friendly and helpful.
