The union league club is a grand hotel - the rooms had grown tired and old the last time I visited. This time the upgrades were apparent. The bathroom was modern and clean. The bed and room were nicely updated. The location is good for loop and west loop locations. Parking is adjacent and convenient. The dining and conference rooms...

I stayed at Union League for 4 days with meetings in the club every day. My recollection from years ago was that the guest rooms were dated, but my room on this trip was nice and fresh. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were high quality. Everything in the bath had been updated. What most impressed me was...

We stayed for 3 nights on a wonderful weekend in Chicago. We didn't eat at the club however had drinks each night after being out for dinner. The room was excellent and the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend.

The club is outstanding. We stayed one night at the club hotel for my husbands conference. The room was clean, nicely decorated and had all the amenities necessary. The only thing I had to complaint about is not having free water bottles in the room. They had no mini bar or a refrigerator. The restaurant at the front 4th floor...

Stayed on business as my meetings were a couple blocks over on the same street. Very historic, elegant, not modern but very comfortable. I ended up with a handicap accessible room, which was fantastic as it was large. The bathroom was huge. Very clean top to bottom. Bed was comfortable. Free wifi, HBO on the tv. Many amenities in the...

This beautiful hotel is right down town. Close enough to walk to many places, as well as being about 1/2 block from the subway. The rooms were very nice. Comfy beds and nice decor. The bathroom was on the small side but had upgraded walk-in tiled shower and granite counters. No safe in the room, though. Great food in the...

First I should say that i am a member of the club so i might be a little biased. But if you want to be treated like king or queen this is the place for you whether business or pleasure. The club has many options within the facility. Full gym facilities, pool, whirlpools both hot and cold, steam rooms, plus...

We have been members for over 40 years. The dining options are numerous. The venue is incredible for special events, we had our daughter's wedding there. The artwork is incredible, a remarkable collection. The old world architecture is absolutely beautiful. The guest rooms are updated , lovely and come in many sizes. A wonderful oasis for business or pleasure in...

“Ask for the newly renovated rooms without connecting space as TV and conversations/partying noise travels and is quite disturbing. If you object to using a service/ staging /delivery entrance when not attired to the dress code, you will feel like a 2nd class citizen being directed to the back door when wearing sneakers for touring, shorts after labor day, or jeans except on weekends.”
