Booking.com reference 109498906 10 – 16 June The hotel is on the 40th floor of an office block which it shares with a restaurant. Reception on the ground floor is manned by building security and a hotel desk clerk. There is no 24/7 hotel management on site. An OK breakfast served on the 3rd floor weekdays (3 lifts), and a...

I stayed here for just the one night at the start of a tour of the States. I arrived on a Saturday and the general area was quiet being the financial district. Once I got to the 40th floor where the hotel is located, it was so quiet I felt like I was the only one there. Peaceful yet ghostly....

The Buckingham Athletic Club Hotel. At first this place seems strange - perched atop an office block. And the athletic club is on a different floor using a different elevator. Then you enter your room and get one of the best views of Chicago and the Lake. The athletic club pool opens at 5a.m. and with breakfast starting at 6:30...

Excellent hotel located on the 40th floor of Chicago Stock Exchange building. The location is perfect and most of the famous tourist spots are in the vicinity. It is well connected to the train service as well with station located right below the building. Lots of eating places are also located nearby. The building has heavy security as the 39...

Couldn't fault it. Desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Athletic club facilities are excellent. Breakfast is spot on and a very welcoming start to your day. The hotel is quiet and we slept amazingly well. We had a room with a lake view and leaving the curtains open gives a lovely start to your day with the sun rise....

Parking: Convenient, located underneath the hotel. Reasonable. Check-in. We ran into several problems, because we were given the impression that the athletic club and the pool were separate from each other and that our daughter would be able to swim. NOT THE CASE!!! We were SO disappointed. And we did not receive any help from the staff - they kept...

We only spent one night here and would have really liked to stay two. Yes, it's kind of a funny set up with parking and finding breakfast, but the view from our large room was wonderful, overlooking the lake. It probably could use some sprucing up in the rooms but nothing terrible. Breakfast was good, not a huge selection but...

Sure, the furniture is stodgy and scuffed but its right in the heart of the financial district, within walking distance of the Lake and many attractions and the price is right. I have to say, try to get there early to get a suite, since the "regular" rooms are really worn out and not as spacious. The marble tabletops are...

Are you planning go to Chicago? What do you think to stay at the 40th floor and enjoy a fantastic skyline of Chicago? Have a amazing city view from the comfortable appartments of this hotel. Find one (or more) of the tallest buildings of USA, just sitting in the sofa of the huge bedrooms and have a nice stay.

Let me just preface my critique with this: we would go back to this hotel. My fiancé and I drove to Chicago for his birthday weekend. We spent a lot of time researching hotels & restaurants because it was his first trip there. We read a lot of reviews where people said the elevators/keys were confusing or cumbersome. We did...
