Good location to get from O'hare and also walking distance from Union Station. Not much around the hotel in the way of bars or restaurants. There is a Whole Foods on the corner so useful for getting breakfast or a snack. The rooms are very noisy if overlooking the freeway so make sure you have one at the back of...

Great location right off I90 and Madison. We lived in Chicago for the past 11 years so staying in the heart of the city was not what we were looking for in the least. The West Loop is a great location very convenient to different neighborhoods (Fulton Market, UKV, LP, Loop, River North). I also enjoy the great restaurants on...

We have a family member moving to Chicago and chose the Crown Plaza due to its location. In Greek Town and near 90/94, numerous restaurants, service amenities, and markets - we were able to hub out whether by foot, public transit, taxi, or Uber. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a safe area - this is...

Located in greek town the hotel is right off the highway and between two grocery stores great for guests who are staying for an extended time. Greek town offers great authentic restaurants and randolph street "restaurant row" is only a few blocks away. My first impression of the hotel after a long flight that it was quite outdated but when...

We knew we were tired and stressed. We were in town for mybrother'so funeral. Mr Cunningham suggested we enjoy a little unwind time at the hotel bar. When we went to our room it was extraordinarily comfortable. The bed was soft yet firm with more than enough down pillows. The shower had excellent water pressure. The flat screen TV and...

My daughter Myra and I are huge hockey fans and our third hockey game in four days happened to be in Chicago and we happened to be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on the west side. Simeon Cunningham was at the front desk and he was not just helpful, but compassionate. When my daughter commented that it would be "cool"...

Crowne Plaza Metro has a great situation between up and downtown, rail links to uptown, airport (O'Hare) transport links (eL and buses) up, down, east and west all handy (about $12.00 taxi fare uptown) walking distance to Art Institute. Good for access to Soldier's Field/ McCormack Conference/ Field Museum. Greektown on your doorstep. Good mid-range business hotel, nothing fancy but...

Pleasantly surprised when found this recently updated facility while searching for a place to stay close to The United Center. The room was spacious and clean/comfortable. Bathroom was fine except the sink's faucet was on the right?!? While there was $43 valet parking, we opted for a $20 self-park site a block away behind Walgreens. WiFi was included. Would return...

Needed a last minute reservation for a friends' celebration. This property is near to and accessible from the Wicker Park area where festivities were taking place. The staff kindly accommodated my slightly early check-in request so that we could change for a 3:45 meet up. Lovely room, pleasantly appointed, wonderful, comfortable bed/bedding. There are two nearby markets (one is a...
