This hotel offers the perfect Chicago location. The views of the lake and Lincoln Park from the rooms and the rooftop bar are spectacular and the service friendly and ever so helpful. The location also enabled us to get ready for the wedding we held...More

Limited to no internet. Rooms look a bit worn and elevators are SLOW. Don't even bother with the Kennision...took us 1.5 hours just to get food. For a boutique hotel and the cost...I expect more. Rooftop bar had great view but no seats when we...More

Great value considering the location. Near zoo and Second City. Staff is top notch. Better get there early if you want a table at the rooftop bar! Younger crowd, great view! Elaine's next door is great place for morning coffee!

Booked this hotel for the location only as it is near family living a nice 20 minute walk away. Of course Chicago is not cheap for room pricing but was a bit disappointed in the rooms for the cost. Having traveled quite a bit I...More
Considering the price, I was surprised at the shabbiness of the hotel. Rooms were impersonally furnished and less than welcoming. Our first room smelled like dog urine. We were moved to a perfectly adequate second room. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast at the J. Parker...More

Head to the North Side of Chicago for a stroll through one of the city’s greenest neighborhoods. Lincoln Park boasts over 1200 acres of green space complete with a free zoo open to visitors year-round. This pedestrian-friendly neighborhood is lined with parks, row homes, boutiques, taverns, and nature. Lincoln Park itself borders the lakefront area offering peaceful views of the water and the Chicago skyline.

The Lincoln Park Conservatory is one of the most popular attractions in the area, with the Chicago History Museum a close second. Armitage Avenue is where you’ll find great shopping from high-end retailers and small boutiques, whereas Clark Street houses cafes and restaurants. For more highbrow entertainment, walk along Lincoln Avenue to find some of Chicago’s finer museums and theaters.

Refrigerators are available upon request for any room. There are a handful of one bedroom suites that have refrigerators in them. If you book one of those, simply put in a request.

For the 'L', if coming from O'Hare airport, take the blue line to Western and then you would take the 36 bus to our hotel. If coming from Midway, take the orange line to Clack/ Lake and then transfer to bus 22.
By far, Uber is much more convenient if you have much luggage as it will take you door to door without having to transfer anywhere.
