Small hotel in a good location. Two bedroom suites are convenient when traveling with friends but it is really just a large room with two bedroom areas - no doors but semi private the way it is oriented. Furnishings are older, and certainly not a 5 star corporate type hotel but overall a good place. And the restaurant downstairs is...

The hotel is very nice, the service is extraordinary! Pedro was wonderfully helpful and friendly every single day. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is great, so many things within walking distance. They have free wifi, which seems to be a bit unusual in Chicago, but the service was a little sketchy in our room (it's great in...

Loved staying right on the river in a convenient location downtown! Also had great customer service. Rooms are small, but fit our need for the stay. Check-in and check-out were both very easy, and the front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

2nd visit to this great City. The location of the hotel is perfect for bars, restaurants, shopping and visiting the sites. Clean, comfortable and pretty good value! Rooms have comfy beds, coffee making facilities, microwave, fridge and a sink. Would return here for sure.

Had not stayed here before but liked it very much! Check-in was quick & easy as was check-out. Our room was very small & didn't have a nice view but we spent most of our time outside the hotel anyway. We were attracted by the relatively low price for the weekend and the location. It is just across the street...

You pay for the location and that's about it. Everything else is at the buyer's risk - including which hotel you actually stay in. Pros : Central, an amazing view when you leave every morning, close to the Loop, close to Metro stations, close to Magnificent Mile and walking distance to Millennium Park. Cons : Where do I start? 1....

This hotel is right in the heart of downtown Chicago. We asked for a river view, which was spectacular. The activity on the river and on the street allowed lots of interest right there from the room. If you haven't taken the sight seeing boat, it's well worth the time. Shopping opportunities abound, as do restaurant choices. As noted in...

My mom and I had a wonderful stay at the River Hotel. Our room (802) had an amazing view of the Chicago river and the Trump building. Devon at the front desk was super helpful in helping my mom and I decide where to go shopping. Had the best margharita (thin crust) pizza at the restaurant in hotel. We will...

Got the cheapest room, and it was small, but knew what I was paying for in advance. The location and service were excellent so I would stay again. Pedro, at the front desk was all about service and taking good care of the guests. Also liked the snacks available, nice little extra.

The room was comfortable, clean and well located. We reserved the kitchenette room, which was a fair size. Not quite a kitchenette, these was microwave and a fridge. If you can get a room at the front ask for it. The rear of the building backs on to an alley with lots of late night, early morning activity (garbage trucks,...
