This room was purchased for us thru a third party. When we first walked in it was...OMG! FILTHY and smelly and scary outdated! Filthy greasy carpet, old beds and linens, gross bathroom (the toilet was tiny and not attached to the floor). Porn on the TV. Half the electrical plugs didn't work. Dull lighting. LOTS of noise and you could hear...

My family got stranded at MDW for the night and couldn't find any hotels with vacancies in the area. After talking with a lady at the airport so directs taxi cabs at curbside, telling her our problem, she said that the Skylark Motel is around the corner....I called the office and we were in luck, they had rooms. We took...

I stayed at this motel a few weeks ago and despite everyone's negative reviews, I think this a good value for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was surprisingly clean and the bed was comfortable. Even though the area of the motel may not be the best (that's why they have police ordered signs to keep...

Just needed somewhere to stay for the night while we were in town. Expedia set us up with this room over the phone so we had no pictures of the place or anything . We figured a room for 100 dollars would be decent enough to just sleep in. We arrive at the motel hoping the rooms look better than...

Door knob on bathroom door was broken, there was a crack in the mirror, the lights flickered, the TV had like 6 channels, but if you like hardcore porn, then you're in luck, it's on channel four. The day we left we turned on the heater (held to the wall with duct tape) and it popped and started smoking. We...

I would have rated this place NO stars if it had let me! We were just looking a place that was close to the airport and was relatively cheap. We should have known as soon as we were dropped off at this place what we were in for. The reception area is littered with signs saying "No prostitution allowed". Definitely...

We just needed a place to crash, while our heater got fixed we are locals and learned the hard way about this place first of, the place is so unsecure, the doors are very flimsy...not a clean place... to place your head on the pillows, no!!!... and when my honey decided to place one of the chairs against the door,...

Where do I begin..... My teenage son and I decided to take a last-minute excursion from Columbus, OH to Chicago in early August 2008. Our plan was to see the Planetarium, Sears Tower, Chinatown, the Navy Pier, take an evening boat ride on Lake Michigan, then head back home. Two days were plenty for all this. I looked online at Hotels.com....

We were passing through Chicago on our way to New York and thought we would stay for 1 night. We were on our honeymoon and booked everything as we went along. We decided to stay at the Skylark because it was quite cheap and didn't look too bad on the internet. When we got to our room we were shocked...

We needed a place to stay at for the night, so we wanted a cheap hotel, but we couldn't find any so we stayed at this place for $75 or so. First thing we noticed is there was no lock on the door and was ripped off, so we put a large desk in front of the door, because we...
