I saw some bad reviews of this hotel earlier in the week of my visit on another site, and I honestly don't know why. The location is great, in easy walking distance to Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, the subway, etc. I found the desk staff very friendly and accommodating. My room was clean (and promptly cleaned each day), and quiet....

Booked a room on Expedia the week before Christmas when the whole city was giving rooms away. Paid $70 (normally around $170 for this hotel) Just a half block off Michigan Ave! First time staying at a Cambria and we were very impressed. Front desk upgraded us to a suite since there were so few guests that night. Much appreciated....

As stated in other reviews, the primary bright spot of this property is location. Interaction with the staff (Front desk, housekeeping, bartender) was very positive. Some strange policies to extract more dollars from guests. Arrived early and inquired of availability. Was informed I was early but if I wanted immediate check in, it was available for additional $29.00. Opted out...

Jennifer and staff are amazing! Great location and a nice clean big room! Would highly recommend this place to everyone. The rooftop bar was great and had an excellent view. The bartender was fantastic and personable.

This is definitely a 3 star hotel masquerading as a 4 star. The stay was adequate. Biggest plus is the location. Don't expect any amenities - like robe, makeup mirror, qtips, cotton balls, etc. bathroom is dark with a shimmering orange decor. Not a pleasant combination. Very loud rattling HVAC system.

Actually the 2 stars is a bit confusing, because the hotel is very nice. The location is perfect and the staff were very kind and helpful. But the main problem here, is the old water pipes! We were worked up in the very early morning three times, with a noice so loud that you couldn't sleep! They need to get...

My wife and I went away for a short holiday in mid May. We arrived in a downpour and the porter and valet were very welcoming and helpful, as long as the front desk staff. The hotel was undergoing renovations on some lower floors, but that didn't create much of a problem other than having the water turned off the...

If you have stayed in one of the brand new, beautiful Cambria properties elsewhere, you may be disappointed in this one. Formerly another hotel, it has been repurposed as a Cambria, and still has the air of the old property. The website shows photos of a pool that does not exist, parking is $62 a night, not $50 as stated....

They are very good & personalized at service & comfort. Secondly, location is excellent. Lower floor with the street view helps you pass the time if you are going to be in the room for a while. I also like their Happy Hour.
