Hi. Thanks for asking. We actually quite liked the place, but we had too many problems with the air conditioning system. The first night was very cold and very hot second. We had to call the front desk and ask them to turn off the air, which could not be done. The third night we asked to turn off the...

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize about the air conditioning and the fact that your wife got sick. Our HVAC system is a bit complicated and we try our best to satisfy all sharing the rooms. Thanks again and our apologies.

In my room there were 8 bunk beds and 5 of us in the room. Upon arrival Front Desk said I could not get a room until 3pm. I asked if she could check again as I have never been to Chicago and had no idea where to roam for 3 hours. She found. Clean bed after searching 3 mins!...

Have spent three nights here in a private room with share bathroom, have not had problems with noise or using bathrooms when needed. Close to everything, feel safe as a solo traveller. Included breakfast is good and plentiful, have found staff to be helpful, luggage storage on check out is a bonus. Good wifi.

Been here 2 days, booked a bed in the dormitory room and once arrived they told me that I won a single room at the same price! Yeah! Great breakfast, everything very very clean and full of kind people to meet and share experiences. Downtown walking tour is a must-do!

I wanted a relatively in-expensive and clean accommodation. This was a good choice and nice first experience in a hostel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the place was overall very clean. Breakfast was included but was very average with not much fresh stuff in it (only apples as fresh items) but I suppose that's what you can expect in...

This review may be out of date as it was 2013 I visited.. got round to the review eventually!! Love the place, stayed in 6 bed dorm with a friend.. 1 bathroom to share between 6 was a bit annoying but hey... checked in easy and the guys on the counter were great, gave us some tips on best places...

Great location for a very reasonable price. The place was clean, fun, close to lots of restaurants + attractions, only (mild) annoyance was the above-ground train runs right next to the building so you can hear it when it rumbles by. Despite that nuisance, would stay here again.

Thanks for your feedback. Sorry about the annoying train, it is however one of the charms of the city.

I had booked for 4 people in one room dorm. When I first entered the hostel, it looked great and everything looked clean. I was given room 507 with the upper deck bed, which I didn't know until I reached the room. While your on your way to the room you will need to keep your access card handy. In order...

Stayed in this hostel for 2 nights in a shared dorm. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Good location What more can you want? Clean shared bathroom facilities. Breakfast is simple, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, bagels and muffins. Nice view of the El from the dinning room, you know which city you are in that's for sure.
