Stayed here just 1 night on a escorted tour. The Palmer House Hilton is located centrally in Chicago's loop. The lobby is beautiful, but lots of time full with people who are just walking in and looking around. Lines for check in where confusing, but the lady who did Hilton Honors check in saw me wondering aroundwas very helpfully. She...

Stayed with husband over Labor Day Weekend 2014. The location is extremely convenient: 1 block away from 2 different train stations and walking distance from Millennium Park. As one of the oldest hotel in Chicago, the common areas are as grand as you'd imagine and rather cool. The gym is very easy to access and has all the basic equipment...

Had the chance to stay at the Palmer House Oct 17-20 The location is great within walking distance of everything (if you dont mind walking) taxis , bus, train right at your doorstep. Even though the room we had wasnt your normal size room it was still quite cozy and bearable (bathroom was comfortable) Beautiful old historic hotel #MfromMiami

I just attended the Vogue Knitting Live event at the Palmer House and stayed there for four nights. Really enjoyed my stay. Room was quiet and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Check-in staff, maid service and room service were great. Meals delivered via room service were very good. I rate the location of this hotel as excellent. The only item...

I just spent a week at the Palmer House - 5 days on business, and 2 days with my wife as a tourist. The Palmer House is a huge historic hotel in the Loop - a great location for business, the theater, the Art Institute and Millennium Park, but not so great if you're interested in the shopping and nightlife...

I just returned from a wonderful weekend at The Palmer House as part of Vogue Knitting Live. I highly enjoyed and recommend staying on the recently redecorated executive level, where you get daily breakfast and evening appetizers, which are filling enough that you wouldn't need dinner. And if you need anything on the executive level, Ernest is the BEST. He...

I caught up with my wife at the Palmer House -- she was attending a conference for three/nights days and my daughter and I spent one night at the hotel. The hotel is beautiful, especially the lobby which has a variety of nice seating and a nice bar. The rooms are large, but kind of oddly shaped, which makes some...

Staff and with the exception of the furnishings in the bathroom a great hotel. Beware no grab bar in the tub/shower and the straight shower curtain rod makes it feel confining when taking a shower. Other than that great.

Staying at the Palmer House has many benefits that stem from the rich heritage of this grand hotel. The best experience comes from the people. As a Hilton property the Hilton Honors program features a wonderful 23rd floor hospitality environment. Meet Ernest Fizer, the world's best executive level attendant. He exudes the most refreshing perspective on life and is a...

I have been meaning to stay here "forever" and finally found a great rate so I took the plunge---and I am so glad I did. This is a gargantuan hotel-over 1600 rooms. You might want to take a map or plug in your GPS as the hotel is so big you could get lost. The registration area is a big...
