Great location! Walking distance from the park and all the stores. There is a huge Macy's right in front of the hotel. The service is great, the employees are thoughtful. Brunch at the bar is recommended! Complementary afternoon coffee and cupcakes add extra caring for the guests! I recommend!

I was in Chicago recently for business and it was a pleasure to stay at the Alise. The room, the staff, the food at the Atwood restaurant were all superb. We used their meeting room which had all modern AV equipment and a lots of natural light. The location of the is great - close to shopping and Millennium Park...

The room was comfortable and clean, and I slept like a baby on that mattress. We had a gorgeous view from our room too! The staff were all incredibly helpful and attentive. My friend and I LOVED the little restaurant also (Atwood) as a nice little spot for a drink or a snack. I will definitely be back!

Nice location but not the prime shopping area. Historic building beautiful exterior but interior has a cold feeling from the original marble and wood walls. If you don't mind waiting a few minutes to get hot water in the bathroom, then this is the place for you. There is no bar soap in bathroom only wall hung liquid soap dispensers....

Dear Julie H, Thank you very much for choosing The Alise Chicago as your destination away from home. We really appreciate your business and can tell from the looks of things that this 122 year old historic landmark did not meet your expectations. We sincerely apologized that the first steel frame and glass skyscraper in Chicago did not make the...

Yup in the heart of the city, located on "State Street, that great street", tons of shopping near by. Welgreens is a block away and Shake Shack 3 blocks away. Two of my favorite things. Incredible location for runners and joggers- got a glorious 10 mile run in along the river and lake front! My 3-night stay in a corner,...

Great staff. Amazing naked experience. Loved the pineapple cupcakes. Excellent price and location. A little more room for the double room is needed. My husband cut his leg once and had two bruises from the corner of the bed frame.

Modernized hotel in the historic Burnham Hotel building, the Alise offered a clean room and super comfortable bed (with cloud-like comforters for each sleeper), free wifi, fabulous customer service, a great restaurant (and room service), and a superb safe location, centrally located to many of Chicago's prime tourist sites (Art Institute, the Bean, Sears/Willis Tower, etc).
