Reservation was missing upon arrival but eventually found. Paper-thin walls in the rooms. Extremely loud and sketchy clientele. Zero coffee mugs and plastic cups in the room. Cigarette burns on the sheets. Front desk clerk refused to restock them claiming he "didn't have access."

This hotel has a new owner, who doesn't know how to treat guests. When I arrived, the only person at the desk was his father, who did not speak English. He made me wait for at least 20 minutes(owner disputed this when I complained) to call his son, since it was more important for him to finish his dinner than to check in a guest. When he did arrive, instead of being apologetic, he got angry with me for complaining. Unfortunately, this is the only hotel in the town where I was visiting relatives. Actually I had stayed there often in the past and never had such problems.
Another problem was the refrigerator in the room. I didn't realize until morning that it wasn't working. It turned out that it wasn't plugged in.
While I did not expect a luxurious breakfast, this one was meager. The only offering was two kinds of cereal, with a choice of bagels or overly greasy doughnuts. Again, a lack of hospitality.

America's Best Value in Centralia is no longer in business. I had to stay there on my trips to Centralia to visit my
daughter. I stayed there several times because there was no other place to stay in Centralia. The rooms were
small and rather dark. The door to the bathroom did not close. At night I could hear people talking loudly and
running through the hall of the hotel until all hours. The people staying there looked rather shabby.
In the morning there was no one at the desk to check out with. The only good thing was that I could walk to the
Amtrak Station from this hotel.

Pretty standard, no frills, bad decor and the TV didn't work. I called the desk after check-in and no one answered. I called 3 times with no answer. In the morning it couldn't be fixed so the engineer was being sent. He never arrived.

The owner is trying to fix this place up which I am told he has made progress. HOWEVER he is terrible at be the clerk, he makes alot of mstakes on his booking software and while checking in I had to wait while he fixed two transactions. Two of my traveling companions had problems with either the key not working or he could not remember a cash transaction and said we did not pay. I DO NOTRECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

Curb appeal was not the best, but we were very satisfied with the interior. We were given a spacious room at a reasonable price. Our stay was during the Centralia Balloon Fest which also fell over for the Eclipse. The coffee every morning was hot and ready. Our room was clean as was the bath. No mold and fresh towels every day. The staff was wonderful to us. Anytime we had a request, if not fulfilled immediately it was with in a reasonable time. The hotel was once call the Bell Tower Hotel and in the past had a bad rap but we have no complaints. If we ever return to Centralia this will be our go to for accommodations.
