The cave is huge and allows your imagination to go crazy with the possible history of the place. Great for kids to run around and explore, but be aware, the Ohio River is directly in front of the cave and the surrounding bluffs, so kind of dangerous. If in the area, definitely worth a visit! Not much else to do...

Here was our family of 5 experience renting a $200 cabin with full kitchen in August 2016: We arrived on a Tuesday when the office was closed all day with instructions to call a list of numbers to get a hold of someone. My cell phone doesn't work in that area, and apparently only Verizon does. Worn out from 10hrs...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. It was a surprisingly lovely room with all the comforts of the modern world in the middle of a beautiful place. I had originally picked this place due to its proximity to Garden of the Gods, but after we realized it took so long to get to places like Burden Falls,...

The cabins are neat and clean. Simple and rustic. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. The view from the deck is spectacular of the Ohio River. Bring your own food and drink. Not much available close. The restaurant has good, reasonable food!

The view of the room is amazing! The renewed room is nice. But, the tub is so slippery that I fell down twice!!! My left hip is still hurt now! Fortunately not injured severely. Administrators really need to take care of it.

What a pleasant surprise. I made a reservation on 9/24/2015 for one of the cottages (1/2 duplex) for Friday 9/25/2015. I had never seen the property nor heard anything about it. Wow! Comfortable, nothing fancy, spacious. Small kitchenette area with Microwave, small fridge, coffee maker (they supply coffee), table for 4 to eat at. Make a coffee and enjoy the...

We have stayed in the Cave in Rock Lodge for two nights last year during our southern IL road trip. If you enjoy rustic travel-style this one is for you! Big cabins with kitchenette and dining area, clean but very... motel style. If you brought your own coffee (which we did not) you can enjoy it on the balcony overlooking...

Awesome great cabins and amazing view. Book early they only have 8 units. Make sure to visit the cave. Short walk down stairs but there is a railing. Garden of the Gods is not too far and worth the drive.

Beautiful scenery, they only have 8 units so you must book ahead. Overlooking the ohio river. Make sure you walk to the cave, it's down steps but they have a railing. Incredible time. Drove to Garden of the Gods and it was amazing.

We rented 3 cabins for a family reunion. Kim was most helpful making our reservations. The cabins were very clean, beds comfortable and the views phenomenal! A wonderful location overlooking the river! We loved walking in the park, fishing and walking to town to ride the ferry. It was a memorable vacation! If you would like a quiet, out of...
