I booked at the Livingston Facilities. My reservation was cancelled BY PHONE even before arriving. With the excuse that the person who took my reservation over selled the occupancy. Never been treated as bad as this. No recomendation at all.

Great resort for families and couples alike! All inclusive option is fabulous...all the good is exceptional! The pool areas and bathrooms could use a little upgrading but service, food and relaxation factor definitely make it worth the stay! 2 pools and right on the ocean with the black sand beaches.

What an incredible vacation. My wife and I spent 2 weeks at Colores del Pacifico. We left feeling rejuvinated, and connected again. This is a special place, quiet, beautiful, relaxing, and romantic. Cathy made all arrangements for us, we were pampered every day. My wife and I loved the Qi gong instruction at sunset followed by a massage. Cathy did...

the hotel room was very spacious and clean. the air conditioning unit worked very well, in fact, I was chilly after awhile. we had a ground floor room with a little walk out patio facing the parking lot. didn't find it noisy at all. the grounds were very well maintained, as were the pools. the ocean view from the grill...

I have been coming to Villas del Pacifico since I was a young child, on every trip that I take to Guatemala and I go to the beach I always stay at that hotel. Amazing service, partly atributed to the fact that my entire family is bi-lingual. On our last stay they upgraded us to a Bungalow just because our...

I was on a 3 month trip across Central America when we got to stay at what looked to be the best place of the entire trip. I could not have been more wrong. The staff was amazingly rude and went out of they're way to try and charge us for stuff that we didn't want or need. The power...

While the hotel itself was nice, the area around is was bad. I mean bad. We were told the town was dangerous and to avoid it. San Jose was filled with garbage on the streets and there is no place around there other than the hotel itself and to get there you have to travel thru the town. There was...

It was a great experience, great food and rooms. Beautiful place and service. Clean and confortable. The only problem I found (not letting me rate it excellent) was the place where they keep the towels it's a little far from the pool and when it was raining we couldn't get to our room from the dining place; they should have...

One thing is for sure, it is easy to get a nasty sunburn here. Some of the pool and sun bathing areas are partially shaded but recommend a good spf especially if you're from Wisconsin!! I really liked the one-on-one with the staff when I stayed there for more than just a few days....always fun to be on 1st name...

We arrived via their shuttle which was difficult to book via email but had some sucess. The cost of the shuttle changed from when we arrived to when we left. "price refreshed" It cost $60 there and $80 back. I think because two couples road together back to the airport. It is a 2 hour drive to the resort. The...

“Our room was next to Cathy's house. We had a jacuzzi and a hammock that overlooked the ocean which is right in front of you. You do get awakened by the monkeys in the morning which we thought was really cool. So exotic. Nothing like it!”
