We got married at the Ravenswood 19 years ago and for one reason or another we've not been back since. We had a lovely lunch which was nicely presented and delicious. This has recently been taken over by friends who saved this venue from developers. I'm so happy they did. The atsmosphere was lovely, jazz music great and owners and...

First visit to The Ravenswood today for lunch and what a fabulous time I had! Amazing food, beautiful venue and lovely atmosphere with the live jazz band! Lovely grounds to walk around before and after the meal. Friendly staff to help.

Went here last year for my uncles wedding and his reception. Let's start with the positives, the bar staff were friendly and the garden is a lovely setting for a wedding. And all in all it was an enjoyable day and evening with my family. However and this is where the negatives start, the building is very dated, the quality...

We checked in as were attending a wedding reception here and decided to go for a walk to have lunch. After a very long walk, the pub had stopped serving food so we phoned the hotel to ask if we could get food there prior to the evening reception. We were abruptly told that Ravenswood is a function room and...

Just left this place very disappointed. My partners bloody mary was furnished with dark brown congealed tobasco upon complaining the staff kindly offered to get some fresh from the kitchen no no no as brown & foul as the previous. On complaining again we were then offered a bottle of lea & perrins that was nearly 6 years out of...

My daughter booked this place but I wish I had read the reviews before she did. We got there early to help my daughter get ready there was nowhere in this so called hotel to get any food or drinks. The customer service was non-existent. After we had our meal, which was very good, my son-in-laws mother asked for a...

My husband and I attended a beautiful wedding at this venue, however, we were a bit disappointed with how it's run. At arrival, there was no one to greet us at reception. We waited more than 15 minutes then went to look for someone at the restaurant to check us in. When the lady finally appeared, she noticed that our...
