Very convenient, everything you need is right there, from food, beverage, clothing and gifts. You never have to leave the beautiful surroundings. I love they have different room types from apartments, to condos, to 6/7 bedroom housing, etc. It was perfect for our sons wedding.

We ate a Thanksgiving dinner in the Lodge Gretchen's restaurant and it was fabulous. The buffet is more for families, but here we had a lovely booth, private and yet open. The service was incredible and yet friendly. I have to commend them for giving us a fantastic TG dinner.

Just came back from an overnight stay at the lodge. We visit Sun Valley annually for business, and stay at either here or the Knob Hill Inn. The last time I stayed here (two years ago), the hotel was still undergoing renovations. So glad we got to see the renovated property this time around. Pros: - rooms were much nicer... More

We were fortunate to get a suite at the last minute in this luxurious, stunningly beautiful lodge. (There were no standard rooms available.) The rooms were tastefully decorated and reflected their recent renovation and upgrading. The grounds likewise were lovely with manicured lawns and flowerbeds and a pond inhabited by swans. The staff were excellent. From the patio we watched... More

Absolutely love Sun Valley Lodge. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. My room had coffee maker, refrigerator, flat screen tv. The beds are extremely comfortable. Large bathroom. Beautiful view at my window. The staff are gracious and helpful. Amazing service.

I have stayed here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. This is a world class resort. The remodeled rooms are a significant improvement. Steeped in history, this lodge provides a memorable experience with a stunning setting and excellent service. The only negative (a small one) is that the position of the TV means that one cannot watch from... More

We had a suite that looked over the ice skating rink. I expected a more spectacular setting, and maybe in the ski season it does look more interesting. The ice rink is shaded by black netting so it looks pretty awful when the sun is out, but the mess is retracted after sundown. Rooms were very expensive given that the... More

This was our second stay at the Lodge & their recent renovations were top notch! Our room was large and well appointed. We love the fact that we can open our windows at night and enjoy the fresh air as well as peace and quiet! There are so many small touches at this property that make each visit unique. The... More

We stayed her one night on business, and it is amazing. This is an upscale hotel that is historic but renovated. Loved the dancing skaters just outside the lodge, the rooms were incredible and the customer service was impeccable. Windows didn't have any screens, so I couldn't keep them open.

Thank Rich C
