Where do you get freshly ground beans for your morning coffee as a part of your check in?!! The room was charming, clean, and comfortable. The mini kitchenette had all the supplies one might need. The owner very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to our next stay!
We tried many Sandpoint motels en route to visiting NW Montana relatives. We really enjoy Sandpoint’s downtown businesses, dining options and nightlife. After many trips, we decided to stay at the downtown K2 Inn whenever possible....very reasonable cost, very clean rooms (several with kitchenettes), just1 block from Cedar Street (a main downtown street), 2-3 blocks from Sandpoint’s downtown core for shopping, eating and nightlife and not far from City Beach Park (the original “sand point” on Lake Pend Oreille). K2 managers Sheldon & Dana are both very nice, hard-working and helpful. In anticipation of retirement, we are now building a home in Sandpoint, we visit more frequently now and we always stay at the K2 Inn. We are very pleased that our house construction is almost done but it means our K2 visits and staying in the downtown fun area is almost done too. We suggest you stay at the K2 Inn and enjoy everything Sandpoint area has to offer. Thank You K2. Jim Hughes…
We stayed at the K2 while cycling the International Selkirk loop in September 2019. The location is fantastic and the manager was so friendly and welcoming it made for a wonderful stay. He provided old towels to clean our bikes off and was generally helpful and friendly throughout our stay. I'd be delighted to stay here again.
Stayed here in August 2019. The manager is an extremely friendly person who makes you feel like you are staying with friends and family. The room was kept clean with convenient parking and a great location to walk to the heart of town. So much more personable than a chain hotel.
The room was modern, well-appointed with dishes, microwave, fridge, comfortable beds, nice towels and clean. The delicious continental breakfast was different each day with homemade goodies from local artisan bakers and great coffee, a wide selection of teas or cocoa. The highlight is the manager, Sheldon, (a former touring musician with loads of great stories) and his wife who take such loving, excellent care of this property down to the beautiful flowers in each pot outside your door. Well done!
