Cheap & cheerful is best way to describe this place. Its not the sort of place I would ever consider going for a romantic w/e away with my wife, but for a cheap nights sleep its fine. It was clean but in need of love & care in the DIY dept. The modern floor boards creek alot when walked on,...

Visited Pendle Inn November 16 with friends. Ordered roast beef dinner. Sorry to say it was the worst I've ever had the misfortune to taste. It was as if a frozen dinner had been reheated a few times. Only ate the Yorkshire pudding and some veg which were reasonable however the roast potatoes and the meat tasted awful. I didn't...

Having had a recommendation for the food at this pub we thought we would give it a try. I have a gluten intolerance and chose a dish off the specials board but was told i could not have it as the peppercorn sauce was thickened. As there were, at that time, only 6 other people in the restaurant how difficult...

We stayed in the pendle inn one night. Wish it had of been longer. Lovely village and some nice walks with our dog. I had taken her up pendle hill some time before which is where i saw the pendle inn, and suggested staying there to my wife later in the year. The little chalet was lovely, and we ate...

Visited with my sister after a lovely walk up Pendle. Staff very polite and pleasant, service with a smile and efficiently too. I had the Sinatra Chicken, was very tasty and presented well. My sister enjoyed the cheeses and onion pie - no complaints, big portions, well presented and tasty home cooked food. We will be back.

Me and a few friends went up Pendle hill on a leisurely walk and ended up in the Pendle inn for lunch after. The food was lovely and so were the staff. The open fire was perfect after a windy walk and we could take our dog in too, they even gave free treats for the dog!

On May 31st we had cause to attend a wake for a very large family. The wake was held at Pendle Inn Barley. The hosts and staff laid on a fantastic hot and cold buffet for around a hundred people. It was well laid out in the conservatory, and as the food was picked up by the guests it was...
