Visited Yellowstone area for a week starting Labor Day. We did not want to pay outrageous prices in West Yellowstone so opted for something more reasonable. Since the crowds had exited by Labor Day, there were very few guests there. Had a very nice, well furnished room facing the river. No frills - but we did not need them. Lots...

I stayed here for 3 days. I had a riverfront room. Loved the rustic cabin feel. Was great having a fridge and microwave since I came at a time where a lot of places were closed. Had some rain/snow when I was there. Was so relaxing to lay on the comfortable couch and read a book while watching out for...

Most of the camping was excellent. Nice level quiet sites. Full hook-ups at a very reasonable rate. Proximity to activities and Yellowstone was excellent. The only downside is the bathroom/shower house in the campground. Rustic would be palatial compared th these facilities. Hot water and a roomy shower were a plus. However, no mirror in the ladies room is unacceptable....

I've done this float for years… This year was the absolute worst! They only have 16 rafts & At 10 o'clock in the morning the rafts were all gone… We went across the road to Café sabor for lunch and watched for a raft … When we saw the first one and hurried back across the bridge… There were seven...

The scenery from Mack's Inn was worth the stay. The rooms really need to be updated, though. The cabin rooms have most of what you need, but are just very old. The rooms are pretty dim and the shower was so tiny. But, like I said, the scenery was worth it. We didn't spend any time in the room. There...

Awful! Just on our way through and we booked an RV spot. Never mind that the women's room was locked so everyone had to use the one toilet in the men's room or the constant parade of ATV's around every street within the RV park, mostly piloted by under age drivers or the breakers that tripped for unknown reasons It...

We were going to Yellowstone National Park for our dream vacation and anniversary. We booked with Macks inn because the other choices had sold out. We knew it was going to be economy based on the price however we had no idea we were getting just above camping in the outdoors. It was horrible!! It started when we checked in....

My family has gone to Mack's Inn since I was little, My wife and I haven't gone with the rest of my family in several years. It was dirty and rundown, and to be frank There were places that I thought the wood was going to collapse right under me. Not anymore Totally re-done, and rustically modernized. Still rather rustic...

Our experience with Mack's Inn was horrible! Our cabin did not look anything like the pictures online. We were supposed to have a queen bed and two double beds. We ended up with 3 double beds that looked like they were from the 1920s. In the pictures it showed that we had a large fridge but ended up with a...

I seldom post negative reviews and am doing so here so you are aware before booking Mack's "Rustic Motel" on Hwy 20, Island Park, ID. If you don't care to read on, in a nutshell: noisy, no ac (it is summer after all), and very uncomfortable bed. The Rustic Motel is not the "cozy cabin" on the East side of...
