We spent two nights here. The position of the hotel is nice and close to everything in town, hotel was last renovated in the 90's so is well worn. Room had very loud portable Ac but bed was comfortable. The hotel restaurant was pretty good at night but breakfast service was appalling. Poor experience.

Lava Hot Springs sits in a picturesque river valley and this hotel is sited beautifully next to the river. We stayed in one of the second floor rooms that had a shared bathroom. This worked great for us as my husband and I were traveling with our grown daughter. Our rooms were small but there are very spacious lounge/common areas...

This is an historic building in an otherwise rather touristy town. It was really hot but they had thoughtfully put the airconditioning on for us before we checked in. Don't expect all mod cons - this is an old building, so you won't find a lift, the decor is dated and the wifi is patchy, but the service was friendly...

My husband and I booked one night at this historic inn as we travelled through the area. We wished we could stay longer! Staff is pleasant, hotel is pet-friendly. The spas are wonderful - both indoor and outdoor hot baths are available. So relaxing. Furnishings are comfortable. Great stay.

The room, on the second floor, was spacious and clean, with fine old furniture. The in room AC could not keep up with the unseasonable heat. Breakfast was good, the soaks in the outdoor pool very nice, and the restaurant was outstanding. Would stay here again, but the town is a bit out of the way.

The staff were friendly and the restaurant a hidden gem! We stayed in room 301. A little elbow grease and quiet fans would have made a world of difference. It was the hottest day of the yr and we couldn't cool off. The carpet was really dirty and stained. I understand the hotel has changed owners and their desire is...

Restaurant great, food lovely, staff friendly. Hotel .... Tired, rotting wood around windows especially in hot pool area ,lumpy mattress, strange smelling carpet which made whole room smell. Would have asked to change rooms if staying longer. It could be so good with some refurbishment, it has so much going for it

We came from Yellowstone and stopped by on our way to Bryce. The hot springs really healed us from our tiredness from camping for 3 days. The hotel was over 100 years old. We got a small room with shared bathroom. Bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Wifi slow. Well decorated and they even have a...

A state-of-the-art gem when it was built 100 years ago, this hotel retains much of its charm and purpose. We enjoyed the very good public spaces and extensive continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful and enjoyed our small dog. Rooms were decorated appropriate to the period. I agree with other reviewers that if you want a European-style hotel this...

We love staying in places with character, and Riverside certainly has it. The hot pools are wonderful, although the outdoor one feels like a hot tub. The room and bed were very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a train that passes by frequently but it's not too terribly annoying. Very close to the public hot...
