We spent one night in a room on the fourth floor of the main building with two queen beds. I was nervous because of some bad reviews I'd read, but we found the room to be comfortable and in good condition. I asked for a quiet room at the front desk and that's what they gave us. We had to...

This hotel was probably the absolutely most beautiful place during the 80's. It's still nice but décor wise quite out of date. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The reason we would go again was the on site restaurant. Keefers sent room service to us of prime rib sliders and cobb salad. Both were as good as we've ever...

I used to stay here with my family 15 years ago. I had lot's of fond memories with nice walk way next to the river. It was sad to see that this hotel was run down and needed some serious TLC. They have wonderful people working there, but the owners need to invest in the facilities.

This is not a location I will choose to stay at in the future. When I walked onto the balcony to look at the river, I turned around and it was infested with cobwebs and spiders and was very unpleasant to be near. When a hotel representative came to remove the spiders and cobwebs, he took his nasty broom back...

Stayed August 29th, paid $159 for a King bed with River view. Gross, gross, gross! Supposed to be a special night for my husband and I as we were celebrating our 10th anniversary and first night out away from our child in 6 years. We started out in Room 211. Dropped our bags on the bench and left to go...

This was a nice hotel in the middle of Idaho Falls - close to restaurants and the river. The amenities are a bit outdated, but a great location, pool and breakfast for a traveling family! Front desk staff was quick to check us in. The breakfast choices could be increased.

I came here on a Saturday or a one night stay for a quick business trip. I was looking for a restful night and hot shower. At 1 am I was awakened by a lot of screaming, foul language and police lights. Apparently this is a hot spot on the weekends for locals with the hotel bar. They should never...

The hotel is located a large property but I think it is past it's prime. I bet at one time many years ago, this was the place to go but nowadays, it is just average. No bells and whistles. The place has a lot of potential but the owners would need to make an investment in upgrading / modernizing.

We booked this based on the pictures and the price. When we got there, the room was a lot older than the one displayed in the photos. That would have been disappointing but okay. However, we were also missing soap and shampoo. When we went to the front desk to get some, they didn't have any. After a few minutes...

We visited the Shilo Inn in Idaho Falls on Aug. 20 for two nights. The customer service was great. The balcony was terrible - dirty chairs, horribly filthy door frame, torn screen, cracked cement floor, and rotting wood on railing. Burned out light bulbs over vanity. Elevator door kept closing on me as I went through the door. No sensor....
