The hotel is very close to public transporation and especially to the waterbus station. It is located near a canal, in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff is very helpful and most important - speaks English (not very common in Venice). The room (302) was small, yet very clean and well equiped. The breakfast was standard. Wireless internet access is valid...

We booked a quad room here on Orbitz at an insanely low rate for late March. The hotel had a building permit sign out front, so I assume they may have just reopened, or perhaps it was just a seasonal special. We had no problems with any construction. In regards to a few earlier comments, this is one of the...

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location on the island of Lido just off Venice, Italy. This adorable hotel is well thought out and shows a pride of ownership that is reflected in the extra touches throughout the hotel. Beautiful designer lighting, the canopy bed, drapes, custom tile work, etc. We stayed in room 205, front center of...

When I saw the beautiful exterior of this hotel I was full of hope. It is well located and has some charming decor. The bed was very comfortable, but the early morning bin emptying and the bottle bank nearby meant that you were woken early in the morning . The complimentary toiletries included a small bar of soap a sachet...

This hotel was a huge disappointment. My husband and I chose to stay in Lido as a quieter and more economical alternative to the Grand Canal area in Venice - Huge Mistake. The hotel was very old and was not all that they advertised to be. I upgraded us to a "Junior Delux Penthouse Suite" - a complete joke! The...

I stayed at this hotel with my niece and parents for 5 nights at the start of August. Despite some temporary 'canal works' going on directly in front of the hotel, it really was in a peaceful location but with very little noise. The staff on reception were great and eager to please. The rooms were quaint - this is...

We enjoyed a very comfortable and peaceful three night break at the Atlanta Augustus on the Lido and would highly recommend it to a family. Our junior suite (rm 205, sleeping 4,) was very clean, well furnished in a quirky italian way, light and spacious with a lovely big shower room and a modern 4 poster bed for us grown...

Just returned from short break from Lido, Venice. I took my wife on her 40th surpirsed birthday visit with the rest of the 3 children to Venice in May 2007. We could not afford the hotel in Venice, so booked into this hotel in Lido Island. We liked the hotel nice location, quite, friendly, clean rooms and staff were very...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We arrived in the evening and found the hotel within walking distance from the water taxis. On arrival the hotel looked lovely from the outside. We were travelling with friends and were given a room key for each couple. Our rooms were both on the 1st floor. We went to our friends'...
