We booked a well priced deal and we were delighted with the hotel location, the quality of the room and the lovely English speaking welcome. Fresh sheets each day, luxurious towel coats and access to a pleasant well organised spa. The 6.30 bin collections were an excellent alarm call! We arrived during a public transport strike but..to avoid the 24...

Very imposing and grand hotel with fantastic and very helpful staff. Rooms are a bit small but all is very clean, furniture is a bit dated ('shabby-chic' in some circles);beds are huge. Breakfast is excellent and caters for all tastes, except full English!! Only downside are noisy bin-men at 6am. The location is good for exploring Venice as the water...

We booked this on a cheap city deal so were not expecting too much but were we wrong, it’s a fantastic hotel with lots of helpful English speaking staff. Wanting to explore Venice we were concerned about location but no worries, its located about 3 minutes from the Vapporetto terminal where we rarely had to wait any more than a...

If u don't mind have to take about one hr ferry to lido , here is the best hotel in Venezia . Toilet was clean, bed was comfy, the environment of Lido was nice , was quiet , breakfast was soso, not bad. I rode the bike over Lido, I think it is the best hotel there.

When originally built, this hotel must have been magnificent, it still is a very imposing building and offers the customer a wonderful service, the rooms remain decorated in the 1920's style and there are photographs all around the Hotel of Venice and the Lido beaches from that time. The facade is a magnificent majolica decorated masterpiece. Arriving on a cold,...

Very impressive exterior. Be careful, there are no handrails on the steps to the front door ! But, There is a ramped walkway with double rails around the side of the building. The first room which I was allocated was not to my liking - dull with an unappealing aspect. My replacement corner room was on the top floor, front...

Lovely outside bar on the terrace and a nice place to sit and relax in the evening before going for dinner. The front of the hotel is amazingly lit up in the evening. It sits on the main avenue linking the Lido Beach and the water bus to the main parts of Venice.

We arrived here in between downpours last weekend and first impressions were good. The exterior was grand & certainly felt like we were arriving outside a top end hotel. The reception area was modest, the staff very friendly & informed with excellent English spoken. We had upgraded to a suite of rooms and although not a four star, they were...

The interior of the hotel is inversely proportional to what looks from the outside. Reception, corridors, breakfast room, bar, bedrooms (classic), everything seems to go back dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens of years ago. But this does not add a "historic" charm to the environment, but it really does appear now decrepit and very dismal. Everything is worn,...
