While staying at Villa Stella was not a negative experience, it was so so. The positives are the breakfasts are nice, and Francesca is friendly at breakfast time. Location wise it is a mile from the main ferry point and Lido Central, and there are frequent refuser buses, though for me there wasn't enough nearby restaurant and shop wise. It...

We stayed for five nights at Villa Stella, the most charming house in Lido. The house, the room, the very beatiful garden, everything, was so nice. The personal was so gentle and kind and the breakfast was perfect. The location is perfect, you can make easily trips all over the most interesting places. We loved Villa Stella.Mille grazie!

Villa Stella is a small and nice family hotel located in Lido. Best place not to be in the center of Venice and still be near to all fascinating events. Staff is very frendly and helphull. Breakfast is very good and you can use the kitchen facility during the day and evening, which is convenient.

The room was bigger than expected, and both the room and the bathroom was clean and nicely decorated. There were some signs of damage to the interior, especially in the bathroom. We were very pleased with the location, as it was nice and quiet. Did not hear any noise from traffic or the bar across the street from the hotels....

7 years ago we stayed at Stella and liked it very much. We kept the address and came back. It was a great idea! We would recommend this hotel to many of our friends. We found some nice small restaurants around the hotel

This place was wonderful! Everyone was very nice and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious (they make their own jams!), and the room was warm and lovely. It is separated from the actual island of Venice by a 20 minute ferry ride (7 euro), but Lido is beautiful as well and much calmer if you need to escape the tourists, at...

We are a family of 4 and we visited Venice along with my sister. We took 2 rooms at Villa Stella. I arrived late at night from Florence and was a bit worried as it wass my first time in Venice navigating thru all the waterbuses etc and that too with kids. But it turned out to be pretty easy....

Villa Stella was very good value, and in a quiet ideal setting. 15 minute walk or 5 minutes by bus from the Vaporetto, and a short trip to the centre of Venice, or the Lido's beaches. Room was small, but has everything you would need. Garden and outdoor areas ideal to sit out. Run by three sisters who, along with...
