Our water taxi from Venice across to the Lido arrived at Hotel Villa Mabapa's own jetty, just a few yards from the Hotel entrance. The hotel enjoys the most marvellous location with views across the lagoon towards Venice, with spectacular sunsets each evening while we were there. The receptionists are the most helpful and courteous, and informed us of the...

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Villa Mabapa in April 2017. This place is simply awesome! Great staff. Great rooms. Great breakfast. Great dinner restaurant. Everything was perfect! We also liked the location. A short walk to the water bus that will take you to Venice, Murano, San Giorgio, and more. If you're planning to visit Venice, this...

We had a pleasant stay with a fairly large room with a king bed and an additional side room but no balcony. The room was dated with older fixtures in the bathroom and small shower. We enjoyed a nice dinner there with wine and a great breakfast in the morning. The staff was very pleasure except when we asked for...

Mabapa is a lovely hotel in need of refreshing. It has old world charm, excellent dining and is across from the sea. Grounds are well kept. Front desk personnel were not personable. They gave us a hard time when we asked for a 2nd room key so we would each have one. They continued to be curt with us during...

This was my 5th visit to Venice and the best hotel yet! I had previously stayed in two other hotels on Lido and one on Venice. Mabapa was not as convenient as hotels just off the public water taxi stop on Lido but worth the short bus ride or walk to the hotel. It certainly beat "slepping" bags across cobblestones...

We arrived to join a gate 1 tour. The guy who checked us in offered no help with bags so we had to carry bags ourselves. The room was clean and quiet. If you want to be away from Venice this is the place. The staff was not very friendly. The first night of our group dinner the food was...

My husband and I have just returned from 3 nights here and we really liked the hotel; our room was nice and very clean. The only downsides of the room were the extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom and the toilet didn't have a window or extractor so wasn't particularly pleasant using after someone else! The staff were very...

We stayed here for a week, my husband, my 30 something niece and myself. So review is from two age perspectives, it was everything we wanted in a hotel, away from busy tourist route, but close to transport links. Coffee and breakfasts were great. We had the best time! We ate in the restaurant and found it to be excellent!...
