We had a very great stay at the Inn at St. Gertrude. We were returning from a trip to north Idaho had an early morning meeting at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Cottonwood and decided to spend the night in Cottonwood. While looking for a place we found the Inn at St. Gertrude. Fortunately they had a room available for...

It is rare that a culture built on the spirit of community rooted in 1500 years of service to the land and others is found in America but the Inn of St. Gertrude is a door into a place that has preserved rural beauty and communal spirit. The lovely Sisters are wonderful hosts and the Inn is most inviting. Plan...

We had heard of the Inn from a friend, and booked a two-night stay. While we only live 2 hours away, we thought a change of scenery in the winter would be nice. Nice is an understatement - what a wonderful place! Sisters Corinne and Chanelle, the Innkeepers, are the soul of hospitality. Our room was well-appointed and comfortable (loved...

We love the Inn! This is our third stay and we'll be back again (and again and again). We had four days to read, rest, feast (too many desserts, but no one forced them on us!), reconnect, walk in the woods, admire the shifting prairie views. And we love Sr. Corinne and enjoyed meeting other guests.

My husband and I stayed one night in the Meadow Lark room. The best part of our experience was the peace and beauty of the setting, and getting to know the sisters who live in the monestary. We had a lively conversation over breakfast and a more individual and quiet getting-to-know-you conversation upon arrival and when the evening dessert was...

We spent 2 nights in September. Our "Blue Bird" room was small but comfortable with a view Prairie & chairs outside perfect for reading and enjoying the sunrise. We opted for breakfast at the Inn: tasty yogurt parfaits. The Italian plums on the property were ripe and they completed my breakfast. The grounds are in need of attention. Hiking trails...

What a lovely discovery it was to find St Gertrude's...literally out in the middle of nowhere. Cozy, beautifully decorated room with a patio and a view. Simple but more-than-adequate breakfast while observing "grand silence" in the monastery. A wonderful rustic bar and restaurant down the road for dinner. Warm and welcoming hospitality staff. Museum, gift shop, and the montastic culture...

It is very rare and fantastic when one gets to stay in the B&B that all should set their standards by. W had the opportunity to spend three nights there in September of 2016. Never have i stayed in a B&B where i was not treated as a guest. We were truly treated like family. We were incorporated into the...

What a great find. A perfectly lovely room with a great view. Even WiFi and Direct TV. In a monastery! The sisters were wonderful. Sister Chanel's chocolate cake was amazing. The included continental breakfast was delicious. My wife and I are about as non denominational as it gets the the whole atmosphere was welcoming and very, very relaxing.
