Tucked away in North Idaho is the most beautiful lake in the world...but don't tell anyone! Priest Lake is the most pristine lake we've seen in our many travels. It's busy during the summer, but we enjoy the beauty of the lake with autumn colors. The Old Northern Inn took us back to the earlier years...cozy fireplace, comfy living room,...

This is a truly beautiful turn of the century Inn. The rooms are very comfortable and cozy. The views from the deck and dock are incredible overlooking Priest Lake. Our breakfast was excellent - fruit, granola, peach French toast. Manager, Kirsten, is helpful, interesting and provided a warm welcome. We also enjoyed the afternoon refreshments of wine, cheese and fruit.

Return to the early 19th century in the great lake and forest of Idaho - Priest Lake! The Northern Inn in Coolin has just been built - first on the lake. The era of woodsmen, trappers, hunters and the railroad. Picture it? Now bring it forward to today. Not much has changed. It is now a fantastic getaway on the...

A small B & B located on Priest Lake, Idaho managed by a wonderfully charming woman named Kirsten . It only has about 4 rooms and 2-3 suites. It is located conveniently off the main road down to the Leonard Paul store (which has everything from huckleberry ice cream to food and liquor). It has its own private beach area...

This was the best find ever!! It was like staying in a cozy piece of history, reminded me of summer vacations at my Grandma's when I was little. We stayed in the Bartoo suite, and it was so comfy. There is no WiFi, or TV, and it is nice to disconnect from the rat race. The patio and balcony that...

This place is adorable. We spent our 3rd wedding anniversary here and we loved it. It's quiet and quaint and historical. Kiersten was so friendly and informative. Everything was perfect for a one night getaway. Breakfast was awesome as well. We will definately be back.

We have been to Priest Lake dozens of times but never had stayed at the Old Northern Inn. It was a delight and the manager Kirsten couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. The breakfast was also fantastic!

We stayed here only one night on a trip through Idaho. Nicely restored B & B, and a beautiful location. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with an outside entrance. Very nice patio where they serve wine and cheese around 5 p.m. Also a nice path leading down to the lake where you can sit and enjoy the scenery....

We spent 2 days at the Inn when attending another resort for a wedding. Being from Vermont this was the closest thing to home. We stayed in the Thorofare room..pleasant, quiet and immaculate. Kirsten our host was so inviting and warm. The breakfasts she prepared were delicious..fresh fruit with yogurt if you chose. Egg quiche and a delightful warm fruit...

We stayed here in early July and had a wonderful time. We stayed in the papoose room which has its own bathroom but it is not inside the bedroom - but just across the hall so that was jot an issue. Kiersten was very accomodating and provided us with wine and cheese in the evening and the best breakfast I...

“We checked out all the rooms and would have been happy in any of them. The way we saw it, the suites are nice if you want the extra room, and the Twin Islands great for the price, but we found the Papoose to be perfect for a couple. Just the right size, and it had a sweet view, too.”
