This was our second visit to the inn for valentine's day weekend and it was amazing. We enjoyed every bit of our stay, from the warm bread pudding served on arrival to the delicious and romantic valentine dinner made by Chef John. They definitely made...More
My wife and I came for a job interview in CDA. Our first night in town we decided to stay at the Roosevelt and were blown away with our experience. The grounds, the Inn and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast in the morning exceeded our...More
Best family feeling experience in a quaint romantic setting. The building is a charming converted brick school-house with nicely updated rooms. Best time to visit is during the Christmas / New Year Holidays as the hotel is very nicely decorated giving you a home away...More
Upon first glance the place seemed great, 12 person hot tub and a sauna to warm your robe in... but then 2 of us found a gnarly hair in John's Granola at breakfast, YUCK!

My review was as of February 22 and 23 and I’m not sure when Gordon Ramsey was there and frankly don’t care. I don’t take much credence in celebrity chefs. Scrambled eggs by Julia Child, Martha Stewart and Jacques Pepin are moist and flavorful not a dry fold resembling an omelet but they they don’t have celebrity restaurants so what do they know. It was also the inn keepers attitude about it. He was appalled I didn’t like his rendition on scrambled eggs and made a comment about Gordon Ramsey and snatched it away. Then he was snooty again when he brought back scrambled eggs. You can see from his comment on my review he has some anger issues to deal with. The egg casserole he made the next day wasn’t good either and the salsa tasted canned but I wisely just ate the fruit.
