Our first choice of a place to stay the night in Bonners Ferry on our way home from California was not available, and we decided to try the Log Inn instead. I'm glad we did! Everything is made out of logs: the building, the bedframe, the chairs and loveseat, even the toilet roll holder! The room was clean, the linens...

I stayed here on a trip up the Rockies from Colorado and Utah to Canada. The owners are really kind, hospitable people who clearly take pride in their establishment. The rooms are nicely rustic and very clean. I can honestly say that I haven't stayed somewhere this nice in years, and certainly not for their rates. I'm not certain when/whether...

What a great place to stay especially after my previous terrible experience at the Carriage House in Bonners Ferry proper. Super clean rooms, great hosts that go out of the way to make your stay pleasant and easy access make this my choice for places to stay in Bonners when I'm traveling through or visiting friends in the area. Can't...

This was our second stay at The LOG INN in Bonners Ferry Idaho, and we won't stay anywhere else. Dave and Jill are the owners, and they are wonderful people. The rates are reasonable, and the rooms are CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! Have breakfast at the Inn, or the Three Mile Café which is close and convenient. Another plus is the...

The Log Inn was such an amazing surprise! Such a clean and charming establishment with interior decorating. The owners were so great and friendly. I want to go on another trip, just so I can stay there. We didn't have a reservation, as we were traveling from Canada to Montana, but we were warmly welcomed!! Can't wait to go there...

This is a charming, clean establishment, easily accessible to through traffic. We especially loved the colorful tables and comfortable chairs on the covered patio outside our room. The motel is sheltered from road noise by a substantial row of conifers and a picturesque fountain. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

While car camping our way across Idaho and Montana we came To Bonner's Ferry with no reservations. It turns out that the Carriage House Inn has a great spot for RV's and tent camping. The tent site was on the backside of the Motel, so road noise was at a minimum. We were on grass and in the shade. There...

Stayed for one night on the way to Montana from BC. Check-in was a breeze (called ahead in the morning and reserved a room). The location was easy to get to and there was plenty of parking in front of each unit. The room was spacious and nicely laid out. The room was decorated like a modern log cabin, right...

PROs: The rooms are clean, tidy, and reasonably sized with new fixtures. Fast Wifi. Good value. CONS: Although it is screened by trees, the motel is strung along Hwy 95, so you can hear some road noise.
