This is a classic "motor inn" in downtown Boise - a bit nicer than a motel in certain ways, though from the outside it doesn't look like much. The rooms are on par with any respected national 2 star chain. Clean, updated, everything works. Basic in decor, nothing to complain about. Carpet seems not very old throughout - no cig... More

Stayed here with my sister while attending concert at The Egyptian Theater. Our room was clean and comfortable, Great location..walking distance to almost everything. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Safari Inn is a decent value. My dad and I stayed one night. The hotel is clearly older and could stand some updating. It's a bit 80s and 90s in decor. However, the critical things were good. It's clean. The shower head had good spray and pressure. The grab bar was not in my way. The towels were nice. The... More

I just reiterate what others have said - clean, cheap, great location. Walking distance to almost everything you'd want to visit downtown (including cafes so you don't have to settle for the American-style "continental breakfast'), perfectly good room and amenities, very reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again.

It's located in a pretty hip area of Boise. Waking distance to the crazy bar scene. If your over 30 be prepared to feel like the old people at the bar. The rooms were fine. Nothing special. Flat screen TV, microwave and mini fridge. Beware of the soda machine. Looks like many travelers like myself grabbed a Coke out of... More

Nothing more to say but clean, cheap and great location! Compared to other option downtown Boise this was the cheapest. They also have a shuttle to the airport...!it's great! Stayed for 2 nights and were able to walk most places downtown....

MY husband and I were so afraid of people banging on our door, walls, running down hall, yelling, from midnight to 2:00 am, that we decided not to call office for fear of retaliation by "guests". The next morning, after a sleepless night, we asked for a reduction of room rate for last night. The office person admitted that they... More

You really can't beat the location if you're looking to spend time in downtown Boise. As for the hotel, yes, it is older and less fancy than its neighbors. But, for the price, I was very happy with the value of the room. It was very large, very clean, and comfortable. Staff were quite friendly, and free breakfast was pretty... More

We live about 45 miles from Boise and stay here regularly when we hang out downtown for concerts or other activities that don't allow us to drive back home after :) Always clean and the staff is always super helpful. The location is perfect and they always offer a military discount!!!!

Very nice hotel located conveniently in downtown Boise near all the great restaurants and other activities Boise has to offer. Staff was very professional and helpful. Rooms modern and well appointed. Parking a bit tight but they offered a very nice covered area for some of the parking spots. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
