Made reservation in January for a show in October 2016 was told my sight was not my sight after all. Sign in desk advises they have nothing to do with reservations! They said they were sorry but my site 385 wasn't available, my second choice 392 wasn't available and sight 393 my third choice was also not available. Why ask...

We've camped at these campgrounds for years...both tent and RV sites....and they never were that great, but they are going downhill. If you don't know the sites beforehand, you can really end up with a terrible site...drainage goes smack dab through many, many sites when it rains. I've seen some nightmare tent situations during storms. I've also had a real...

This is a great campground. Spots for big rigs as well as tent pads and yurts. The store hours are "fluid" so get what you need when you see it is open. That also goes for firewood. Although, we were able to get firewood from the Campground Host, hallelujah! The campground is hilly and rock but cleared enough so get...

We spent a night on the Yurts in the campground. I knew what a Yurt was, but didn't expect it to have so much room, even if it looks small on the outside, it can comfortably fit 4 people. There is a queen bed, tables, and a bunk bed with a couch on the bottom. It has a patio overlooking...

October and fall leaves along with the Fall Pumpkin Festival, Scottish Festival and Family and Home Festival made for VERY BUSY and NOISY nights. Camp sites were also very close. I wouldn't recommend for a relaxing getaway but more for a fun, exciting, adventurous time with family. I enjoy tent camping and some of the neighbors also enjoyed the serenity...

We absolutely loved our site. We had plenty of room. Looked at others reviews about the park & heard some of the spots were tight. The people were friendly. We've heard that holidays are extremely crowded. The pool hours are a bit weird (open at 10:00 am & close at 7:00 pm.), and I thought the nightly rate is a...

Just a short story: Today, I had to undergo a mandatory hurricaine evacuation from southeast Georgia. I called the campground at Stone Mountain and asked if they could accommodate a tent camper. They said they were completely full but they would allow me to camp on the grass. I told them I was driving 6 hours and might get in...

We arrived quiet late and it was freezing. To our surprise when we rocked up people popped out of their warm vans to guide us in, welcome us and help hook up the RV. It was just terrific to have a helping hand after a long day on the road. It made for a pleasant finish to the day.

Love, love, love this place! We had a great time camping here. The RV sites are level with full hook ups. The camp store is well stocked. They have a pool and playground which made my son very happy! Most sites have a view of the lake. We used the shuttle to go to the Stone Mountain aerial tram. We...

Wife and I in town for a couples workshop. Wanting a different experience, chose tent-camping. Staff very friendly, offering great advice on campsite selection. Campground clean and good amenities. Bathrooms could use some housekeeping and minor repairs but hot water and good pressure. Weekend was awesome and this stay was part of the experience. Thank you!
