We had a standard room, which was very nice. Breakfast was excellent each morning, and the wine tasting was the best we had in the area. The Faerie wine is amazing! Will definitely be back soon! Highly recommend for a weekend away!

What a wonderful experience we had here. We visited over a month ago, and I still can't stop thinking about it. We'll definitely be back! The location is perfect, the lodge was spotless, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was exceptional.

Our first time staying in this lodge and loved it. The lodge looks massive but only has 7 or 8 rooms, a special events room where they serve a made to order breakfast and have their dinners and wine tastings. The rooms are upstairs with a huge sitting area with games, books comfortable chairs and couches and a deck to...

We have been going to Sylvan Valley Lodge for close to 9 years now. From our very first visit we knew this would be our respite away from home. It lies in the beautiful north Georgia mountains and provides us with a quiet getaway when we need it. Most importantly, the owners are always ready to meet our every need....

Our room was so cozy and had everything we needed from coffee to waters and sodas in the mini fridge. . We had the added bonus...

My husband and I visited right after the busy Holiday weekend, just to get some time away together without the children. It was a short drive and perfect for a two night stay from our home North of Atlanta. Jim and Jenai (spelling?) are very hospitable and full of information about what to do around the Lodge. The hot cooked...

My wife and I stayed for two nights in one of the cabins at the Sylvan Valley Lodge in mid-November. The cabin was very roomy and included anything you would need. It's obvious it was recently renovated and is kept in excellent condition. There are even complimentary drinks in the refrigerator. Our stay included a daily breakfast which was made...

My wife and I made a last minute decision to visit the Helen area for a long weekend. After deciding against camping on Sunday night, we booked at Sylvan as a last minute choice, wanting to avoid the chain hotels and the crowds in Helen. After meeting the proprietors, we were hooked on the distinct style and warmth of the...
