Excellent place to visit!! Private beach, excellent food, biking, fishing....if you enjoy those things and love meeting interesting people this is the place for you. We did experience mosquitos while we were there but it was right after a hurricane. We took long pants and long sleeve shirts and wore our bathing suits underneath and of course, wore lots of...

Our first visit to LSSI was two years ago for a 70th birthday celebrationwith our five grown children - no spouses or grandchildren . We knew then that we wanted to return in late October with the entire family - 21 of us, ten of those being grandchildren, to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The entire process from the initial reservation,...

My husband and I visited Little St. Simons Island the week of October 17th. We absolutely loved this place! They have thought of everything you could possibly want or need. Excellent accommodations, excellent food, and anything you need to enjoy yourself while you are there......such as fishing poles (bait), bicycles, lounge chairs (umbrellas), towels, sunscreen, coolers. The beach was wonderful...

We attended a private function on the island and weren't sure what to expect. Hurricane Matthew had just come through a week and half earlier. Everything was perfectly lovely during the stay. The only real damage done by the hurricane other than some downed trees was the standing water bred record numbers of mosquitos. Having said that, the staff on...

I just returned from a two night stay at The Lodge. It's perfectly charming, and wonderfully special. It's rare that you find such an unspoiled place, and I left feeling like I had a truly unique experience. Before I tell you all about my favorite things let me tell you that it would not be for everyone. If you expect...

We try to visit Little Saint Simons at least once a year. The lodge is very clean and the service is great. We love outdoor adventures and this is one of my favorite places to experience this. We traveled to the island in early May and the weather was very nice. The naturalists are very knowledgeable and made our trip a wonderful...

My wife and I visited Little St. Simons Island after searching for an all-inclusive vacation spot in the Southeast. Wow...what a discovery! This place definitely is not for everyone. If you are looking to be pampered and have a 5-star experience, go to The Cloister at Sea Island. However, if you are looking to just chill out, socialize with people...

I love nature. I love being in nature and learning about nature. The Lodge provides an excellent learning experience in a lovely setting. The naturalists were incredible - knowledgeable but able to talk to "real" people - no jargon, but lots of passion. The Lodge offers a wide range of experiences from wildlife viewing (rattlesnakes, mink, dolphin, alligators, and birds...

We had looked forward to our day trip to Little St Simons as a wildlife and birding opportunity. The most enjoyable part of the trip was the boat ride over and back. I haven't ridden in the back of a pick-up truck since I was nine years old and was surprised to find myself on a bench seat for the...

I'm terribly sorry to hear that you were disappointed in the day trip and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. During the introduction to the tour, the Naturalist gives the guests the opportunity to use the restroom and pick up a reusable water bottle to use on the tour. It sounds like that may not have been communicated well....

With three days, two nights, I was able to kayak 3 times, go on two naturalist led expeditions, walk the beach and look for sea shells 3 times. The naturalist/guides are open to suggestions for activities that interest each individual. The food was amazing, featuring fresh produce from their organic garden. The chocolate chip cookies were addictive! The rooms are...
