Only spent one night, but everything was lovely. From the warm welcome by the host, Chris, to enjoying the huge bed and nice TV and comfy sofa. Topped off with a yummy omelette before my early departure. Will stay again when my travels bring me back to Rome, GA.

My family and I have traveled the world and this is the coolest bed and breakfast we have been to. The stunning architecture and intriguing history of the house compliments the welcoming atmosphere provided by the innkeepers. The breakfasts are delicious! The antique furnishings make for a fun glimpse into the past. I highly recommend this place for families and...

If you like dust, roaches, chicken poop, cat hair, mold, mildew, dilapidation, then this is the place for you. It is a bloody shame that this magnificent house has not been maintained. I am sure that at one time, it glowed; however, the present owners have allowed the interior and exterior to ruin with peeling paint, dead plants, broken furniture,...

Warm welcome and attentive innkeeper. Very convenient to local attractions and eateries. One of a kind architecture 👍Be aware of trains passing through in the wee hours while you are trying to snooze😁

Nice beautiful old house, but house was in need of repairs. Not as clean as I would have liked, had to wait for our room to be cleaned when we arrived. Breakfast was good, not great. Parking was tight and the house was hard to find when we arrived.

The Claremont is one of those places in a small town that has engendered admiration, jealousy, legend and stability. The owners lovingly care for the home and made Pook and me feel right at home. The rooms are spacious and furnished with period antiques. This historic home is a beautiful example of Victorian gothic architecture- the burgled walnut casements, doors...

This is a great little bed and breakfast Tucked away in Rome, Georgia. The innkeeper is amazingly helpful, cordial, and the breakfast is absolutely incredible. We stayed for a few days and it was a new breakfast every day – – scrambled eggs and bacon, stuffed French toast, fresh fruit, and delicious coffee. The breakfast alone was work the stay,...

It just "felt right" to stay at The Claremont House on Thanksgiving night. We were visiting our daughter's family, but there was "no room for us in THEIR inn," so we made reservations at Claremont. What a beautiful property! Our room was on the top floor. Big, canopied, king-size bed with lots of floor space. Such high ceilings and crown...

We had the choice of several really large and well-appointed guest rooms inside the huge main house or the detached cottage and opted for the increased privacy of the cottage. One large bedroom downstairs with a comfy king sized bed, a small functional kitchen, and a living room (as well as a large bathroom) took up the first floor. On...

While this establishment looks great on its website, in reality it is falling apart, full of mold, dirty and served horrible breakfasts. Cobwebs and filthy furniture prevented us from using either of the outdoor areas. The breakfast was an unidentifiable solid blob of overlooked egg with white toast. Coffee and bacon were good. Paint, inside and out, is peeling. The...
