Mussselburgh is a quiet fishing village. Edinburgh is one of the most exciting cities in the UK. So put yourself in pole position for both destinations, at Premier Inn Hotel Edinburgh A1 (Musselburgh). Whether you're here on business or pleasure, you'll have a great stay. Musselburgh is known as 'The Honest Toun', and we can honestly say you'll have a fantastic time here. Laugh your socks off at the Edinburgh Festival, or bet your shirt at the Musselburgh races. In these difficult Covid times , it was great to see the efficiency of this hotel group. The room was absolutely spotless, the reception staff on arrival & departure where pleasant & helpful, and all Covid protection & distancing abided by. Very comfortable bed, fresh crisp white linen & towels . Ample hot water & The shower force was superb. Special mention to the receptionist who was on Afternoon/evening of Feb 4th 2021. She was very helpful in recommendations for places to order food from ( via the just eat app ) , and happy to provide more sachets for the complimentary drinks tray when asked .

Great stay at this hotel. It’s very clean, well organised and close to great places to shop. Road network close by but we could not hear it from our room. Lots of free secure parking. Restaurant next door for all meals should you wish to use it. staff were very welcoming and all-procedures around Covid just now were being adhered too. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent, The room was great. The location suited me to a tee. Price... Good value for money. Had the continental breakfast next morning which was served by two lovely ladies. The receptionist in hotel was welcoming and put me at my ease.

This was a stopover on the way from Kent to Inverness, as the drive was way too long. Very friendly staff and room did exactly what we required. A lovely view over the fields but the hotel itself looks ready for a renovation. A comfortable nights sleep before having a breakfast in the adjacent Brewers Fayre. Bearing in mind we stayed during the COVID restrictions everything was very safe and clean and staff seen to wear masks as required.

Great location very close to Musselburgh where we had a lovely walk by the racecourse, the oldest golf course in the world and the River Esk. Staff very pleasant and had a good meal in the adjoining Brewers Fayre. We also had a very enjoyable drive along the golfing coast to North Berwick. A lovely little town only 13 miles away. If you wish to go to Edinburgh it is only a few miles away. All in all a great mini break.
