We attended the Christmas Tree lighting event and dinner. Such a very nice location. Picked up in the parking lot for a hayride through the Plantation. The grounds were nicely decorated and lit up with Christmas lights. Visited the gift store and the bed and breakfast barn. Rooms looked very comfortable as did the barn. The owners put on a...

The property is peaceful and the barn is so comfy - it was so easy to relax. The breakfasts were amazing! Close enough to Savannah for some day trips but even better for hanging out and exploring the grounds. The owners are delightful and gracious hosts, I really enjoyed learning about the area from them. I will return for sure!

Dunham Farms is an excellent place to stay. Your MOM probably told you growing up that you were not raised in a barn. Here you can sleep in a barn, each room has a private bath. The surrounding grows are great to explore, sit on the pier at night and star gaze. It is so quite and peaceful. The breakfast...

My wife and I booked a stay with the Dunham Farms Bed and Breakfast because it was only a few hours away and we wanted to stay at a place that was quiet and close to nature. We were not disappointed. The entrance from the highway is an unimposing unpaved road draped with beautiful mature trees filled with Spanish moss....

When you turn into the drive to the Palmyra Barn at Dunham Farms overhung by oak-trees dripping with Spanish Moss you feel you're entering a different and beautiful world. When we arrived, Meredith Devendorf was waiting for us like the chatelaine of a great house. From then on we were treated like personal guests with nothing too much trouble. The...

We went on a tour of the farm with a Soil Conservation group from Kentucky and it was breathtaking. The natural beauty was stunning and our guide was so knowledgeable we didn't leave disappointed. We learned not only about the farm and its history but the Georgia coast as well. The feel of old southern romance hangs in the air...

With a warm greeting by Meredith, our hostess, we found Dunham Farms to be a true Southern Delight! Set amidst a 10,000 acre Plantation the facility, a beautifully converted barn, was warm, welcoming and so very comfortable! Set alongside the Georgia waterway and marsh Dunham Farm was delightful. Our room was beautifully decorated with antique furniture, and was very comfortable....

Friends in Jacksonville, Florida recommended Dunham Farms for a stopover on our way from there to visit family in North Carolina. Laura welcomed us warmly with wine and hors d'oeuvres and pleasant conversation when we arrived. Dogwoods were just coming out, and my wife and i sat in Adirondack chairs on the side of the sea marsh enjoying the evening...

Absolutely enchanting location. The gardens and grounds are out of this world, and the site is full of historical significance. I had no idea I had stumbled upon a gem when booking a room here. Driving down from Charleston to Miami, this was a great alternative stop to Savannah. Laura and Meredith are wonderful hosts.

this place is amazing. The ground are absolutely breathtaking and we can't wait to go back. Meredith was a gracious hostess and we enjoyed her stories about the land and its history. I love how it's secluded on its own lush land...it was so quiet at night! Next time we hope to kayak and enjoy the pool.
