Stayed here for a couple nights. Both gave exceptional service and went above and beyond. Great food and beer served by great guys. Breakfast was spot on and the roast was amazing. Thanks so much for the stay hopefully see you soon.

We had a good sized room on the ground floor. A very comfortable bed and lots of big fluffy towels. Decor a little tired especially the carpets. Staff greeted us well. Well kept beer in the bar. In the morning we attempted to have breakfast. Went to the dining room but no one greeted us so, we sat down and...

Booked last minute with a work colleague for an overnight Lovely large Twin Room, The beds are very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant, quality is way above the normal level of Pub Food, I had a delicious Minted Lamb Pie, my colleague raved over his Pork Belly! Sadly our very early start meant we missed breakfast, but were offered...

We stayed here for 2 nights, one before a wedding we were attending nearby and one after. We were able to park easily, we liked the feel of the place straight away, our room was clean and spacious and of good quality. It was cold though, they could have put some low level heating on knowing we were coming but...

Stayed here for one night while visiting family nearby. Had a nice, ground floor room overlooking the park, with a huge bed. Nice to have an en suite bath too. The room was clean overall with good attention to detail, however there was a layer of dust on the headboard and surrounding fixtures and fittings + a rather shoddy repair...

Good clean comfortable room with en suite. Found menu a little wanting and did not like decor in dining room but thats a personal choice. Breakfast good and parking to be had. Local parks around and pretty heritage sight near ponds if interested

Time moves on I know but I preferred the Duke when it was a cosy (and busy) pub a few years back before its makeover it seems just to have lost its character a bit - unlike the Greyhound up the road which went through the same thing recently (perhaps that is down to the brilliant barman they have who...

We have stayed here befoe as it is close to family and always been happy with our stay, and this visit was no different. We arrived in mid evening and check in was quick and straight forward. The room overlooking the green was comfortable and surprisingly quiet, despite the traffic. We didn't have the chance to sample the evening menu,...

How do you review a hotel that you never got to stay in. Well, it's quite simple - just say it as it is. I have reviewed much in my time as I am on road in uk and Europe a lot. I always look for a value deal. Never has this ever happened to me, and I am flabbergasted...
