My soulmate and fellow environmental activist, Laura has been coming to Enota with her family for years. She is drawn to it's enchanted nature and deep power for spiritual healing. Seeing the sign "you are loved" on entry basically summed up our experience there. We felt the love, from the stewards of the land and staff to the farm animals and other guests. The place just seems to attract good vibrations. We felt very welcomed by all the creatures, trees and earth of this very special land. Thank you again for allowing our puppy to join us. It brought us so much joy to see him play in the mountain flowers. The handmade soap in jacuzzi was divine after our hike to brasstown bald. We grilled out and ate by the fire every night. We snuggled on a blanked under a tree and felt its roots healing us. Our love with nature and each other enriched. We even shed healing tears for the ancient ones who came here before us. We honor you in love and may your eternal spirit be felt in this sacred space.

After reading all the reviews it tells me I should of stayed and moved forward with making Enota as great as it could be.I will be trying to get ahold of Dr Freed soon and know she's mad at me but its been about 7 years ago that I left on bad terms. One thing ill say is Enota is touching heaven and it needs me back to help recruitment and get back to basics.

We had a group camp last year with it's own hiccups but we visited twice (staying 2 nights both times in the pop up tent). So when talking about camping again this year, we wanted to go back. This year we booked the pop up tent spots for 3 nights over memorial day weekend (website says 2 nights) and then were later told it had to be 4 nights. Instead of honoring what was on her website and what we reserved, she wanted to move our group of 6 spots plus a camper to 3 alternate sites. We are a group of 25+ people. The reason being for moving us and not honoring our reservation was that she wanted to have those booked for the 4 nights to make more money. We're talking around $400. She complained that she didn't have time to update her website, well she updated the prices from last year. She complained about having no help but maybe it's because she's hard to deal with. She nickle and dimes you for everything (firewood, extra kids even if we had 1 tent, extra cars, etc.) and we were still wanting to go back because it was a great location. This is a beautiful piece of land that needs to be purchased by somebody who can treat customers with respect, take care of the dilapidated cabins, and preserve what's left.

What a beautiful retreat! The falls with an easy hike was amazing. There has been a lot of rain and the water was flowing real good. Feed the ducks with food you can purchase. There a pond with trout. The gentle that greeted us was very kind. The campground is quaint and some sites are right on the stream.

My wife and I were ready to get away and spend some time camping where we could relax and enjoy some nature at the same time. Enota was a beautiful place which accomplished both goals . We thouroughly enjoyed the water falls, camp site by the stream and the great management that made it all possible. We will return with our grandchildren soon!
