Great place! Alpine Village located in picturesque Helen, Georgia is worth the drive, even though this small town is not easily accessible via just one major highway. But let your spouse or friend drive and enjoy the view of the countryside and farms until you arrive in "Little Switzerland"! Have fun on your new adventure!

After booking our reservation online a week before our scheduled arrival time, we arrived at the office to find a sign on the door that said "be back in 5 minutes". So we just figured we would wait....after 30 minutes, still no manager. We then decided to run over to the visitor center. After about another 45 minutes, we came...

This place was great. The sweet little lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and had all we needed for a weekend stay. Walking distance to everything in Helen makes it well worth the money.

The inn was rundown. The lobby is disgusting and needs to be cleaned. You should definitely look into other hotels in the area. If you spend a little more money you will be able to stay at a much nicer hotel.

My wife and I scheduled our reservations online because the place looked nice on the internet and the price was around middle of the road. When we got there we were extremely disappointed. Area was unkept, the room had mold and mildew everywhere (ceiling falling in and flooring rotten in bathroom), no remote for the tv and found Loritabs in...

We made reservations at this hotel about a week before our trip. When we arrived we had to wait 10 mins in the heat for the manager to come back. We told her we had a reservation for a double room with 2 double beds for the 4 of us. She informed us that all she had was a king...

I booked three weeks in advance. I called the morning of to verify. They close at 10pm on the way we got caught in traffic so I called to tell them we would be there by 9:45. She hung up on me and took phone off hook. We get there at 9:35 door is locked and you can see from...

After booking our reservation online a week before our schedule arrival time, we arrived at the location at 11:30, check in was at 12:00. We waited at the office for 15 minutes for the manager to come back so that we could tell her that we were there and would be leaving our car. She explained she had one room...

we booked a room with booking.com and when we arrived she had no room available for us even though we had reserved a room!!! She had a "sorry for your luck" attitude......totally unconcerned!!! We budgeted our stay there in with the total cost of our trip so we had to go searching for someplace to stay that was close to...

Like most of the reviews I will agree that the pictures of the site aren't what it looks like today. The buildings need a new coat of paint and the banisters need to be nailed back down! The lady who runs the place is older and doesn't have a lot of help. She is very kind and fun to talk...
