Booked here as a surprise for our wedding anniversary, all the pictures look great and first impression was good. Reception staff very nice and friendly, booked a table for 7.30pm our evening meal. (at this point I should say we brought our little dog to this "dog friendly hotel" to be told that our dog was not allowed to stay...

Used to be the Home of Sir David Brown, of Tractor and Aston Martin fame. The Gardens, Rooms and in fact the entire Building oozes Character left over from a long gone age. Staff actually talk to you and can have a laugh and a joke that seems to lack in many establishments today. " BROWNS " Bar offers a...

This is a lovely quaint hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant with excellent service from 2 young boys who were extremely polite and attentive. The food was very tasty and well presented. We booked the hotel some weeks ago having spotted it with Wowcher or Groupon - can't remember which but it was a bargain two nights bed and breakfast with two course dinner on first night. My husband's birthday was on 17th August so we stayed the night before. The hotel certainly didn't disappoint in any way, the food was excellent...
