My favorite hostel up to date! The moment you check in the staff makes you feel like family. They introduce you to every guest that bumps into you during check in. The staff also go out of their way to help you. If you have questions about a dive site, a restaurant, a neighborhood, they will gladly help you. Rooms... More

Super nice hostel with a great atmosphere and great staff! Located in a quiet area and everything is in walking distance. The rooms are very nice and big and the kitchen is good as well. Their dog Shaggy is already worth a visit.. :)

We spent a week here enjoying the sun and local dive jewels of San Andres and really enjoyed our stay! The staff are very helpful, especially with things to do and see in and around the island and able to help anyone interested in diving with tips and recommendations. The hostel is also very social and a great way to... More

After having been to 100+ hostels in 20+ countries around the world I can honestly say this hostel has been one of the best. What lacks in water pressure is made up for by Juan, Alejandro, Jenny and Shaggy's hard work to do whatever they can to make you feel at home and have a great time. I'd recommend anyone... More

I stayed at the Blue Almond Hostel for only 3 nights, but wish I would have been able to stay longer. The owners Juan and Jennifer are really nice and very accommodating. They set up a diving course and were really helpful with everything. The rooms don't have air conditioning, but I didn't have any trouble sleeping. Would definitely stay... More

I spent 1 month traveling in Colombia and made a stop to visit San Andrés island. And staying at the Blue Almond Hostel made it all that more memorable. Amazing people and an amazing island. You've really got to be there to experience it all. Truly a must if you're in Colombia. I initially was only going to stay 5... More

We stayed in Blue Almond for one week. At our arrival we were warmly welcomed and we were introduced to other guests. Jenn has shown us the hostel and informed us about the island. Juan gave us the next morning a map of the island with his recommendations for snorkling and other activities. Also Alejandro was providing us with all... More

Great little hostel with an instantly welcoming, warm atmosphere. As soon as I arrived Alejandro welcomed me in & introduced me to some of the other travellers which helped build the atmosphere in the hostel. Place was tidy & clean & the hostel staff/owners came out for a few drinks to watch the Colombia football match. They have 1 bike... More
