Blue Almond is the place, where you are definitely gonna have a great time. It is small hostel, you can easily make friends here, there is a great hostel vibe and real backpackers atmosphere! My time at Blue Almond Hostel was one of my favorite hostel expeiences in all my years of backpacking. Juan the owner creates a family atmosphere and is incredibly helpful with information and activities. Everything can be booked through the hostel. The location is great and the place really feels like home while you are there. Can't say enough good...

Went here with my girlfriend for three nights and booked a double room for 33€. Here a short review. + nice and helpful staff. + they organize tours for you like diving and rent golf carts etc. + good kitchen. - not the cheapest stay. - not the best location (15 mins to center, no beach) - small showers with...

Dear Eike, thank you for a somewhat ok review. Thanks for noticing the good point about staff and activities and for pointing out what you considered are bad ones. As for the price, I assure you that 33 euros for a Private Twin room is as cheap as San Andres is going to get for 2 people, keep in mind...

Undoubtedly the best hostel I've stayed at in my five months of travel around the continent. This place feels like home, really, it does! I would recommend this place to anyone, you will not regret it. We're talking; awesome atmosphere, fantastic people (now my family) and a great little kingdom on the beautiful island of San Andres. The hostel is...

This is such a chilled hostel, feels like you are staying in Juan's house - you probably are! It's well worth staying here if you are on San Andres Island. You quickly make friends with the other people staying in the hostel and share a drink or two with them. We stayed for 4 nights, met people from all over...

Andy, thank you for the good conversations! You forgot your travel log AKA diary here!, come back and get it! After you left, we had a volunteer named Ryan who knew you from Bogota, we read your diary together and wondered why you have drawings of penises! :) Hope you had a wonderful time in the island and that you...

The Blue Almond Hostel is held by Juan and Jennifer, which both are really caring and lovely people.
