This was my first time in Georgia and Cedar House was the perfect place for a relaxing week-end! Cedar House Inn is located at an easy drive away from Atlanta (1h20min), in the heart of Georgia Wine country, in a charming town called Dahlonega. Apart from being the site of the first major U.S. Gold Rush, the city is a...

As soon as we walked into the kitchen of the Cedar House and were greeted warmly by Mary Beth and Fred we knew that we were going to love our stay. Welcomed with smiles, home baked cookies and a cup of tea we felt instantly at home. Our Yurt was a fabulous way to spend a romantic weekend away. Comfortable...

This is my third time back and I am already looking forward to the next time. The property and home is super inviting with it's combination of mountain and whimsical decor. It just off the road but you feel as though you far away from the hustle and bustle. Our hosts do a fabulous job of making us feel at...

We had a great visit with Mary Beth and Fred. They made us feel very welcome. Their attention to detail was awesome; from the dark curtains that allowed sleeping in despite an early sunrise to really delicious breakfasts to a very small light shining on the step up to the bathroom so that one never trips to tables and lamps...

My girlfriend and I visited the Cedar House Inn with another couple as part of our Wine Highway Weekend experience. Our friends had visited a couple of years prior and had raved about the Inn, the owners, and most importantly #YurtLife. Yes, while Cedar House Inn is your typical bed and breakfast, they also have two yurts out back and...

We stayed in one of the rooms in the house, it was wonderful, cool and cozy. MaryBeth cooked the most fabulous breakfast and even catered to my low carb, no sugar diet. The atmosphere was so inviting and relaxed. The property is wooded and nice and quiet in the house. It is extremely close to the downtown of Dahlonega and...

This was the first time for me to stay in a B&B and Mary Beth and Fred were the best hosts ever. I came by myself to search my family roots in the Gainesville area and I felt right at home at Cedar House Inn. Breakfasts were fabulous, my room was immaculate and the whole experience was perfect. Cedar House Inn is a perfect spot for a mini-break getaway! It's far enough from Atlanta to feel like you're in nature yet close enough to get there for a quick weekend trip.
